People Share 30 Creepy Unexplainable Things That Happened To Them

I have an interesting background. I was raised loosely Christian and was always interested in history and religion. After 4 years of active duty military I went to school. I majored in history and religious studies. One of the things we do is study religion from many different disciplines and try to understand what people believe and why. Nearly 2 years of my study was the history and philosophy of science, which included arguments for a designer or creator. I am extremely well versed in science compared to your average person. I consider myself a true agnostic. It's not that I'm on the fence, it's that I don't think we can know all the answers. I will say that different stories like this certainly make it see like something bigger is at play. It's most likely natural, we just don't yet understand it. What I do know for a fact is if there is a higher power, it's not the Judeo Christian God.

I hate comments like this. I am a pro-choice man. There are many pro-choice men. I told women to vote for Hillary because abortions depends on it. They gave me attitude and said they don't like Hillary either. Then nearly half the women voted for Trump. But yeah, all men are the problem. I'll sit down and shut up. Both religious people and atheists have very strong beliefs that they hold on to very strongly, and typically want to share them. This isn't sexism, this is a person that isn't open minded and doesn't even want to consider changing what they believe, because they know they are right.

This isn't mansplaining. I went to school for Religious Studies and history and I constantly run into situations like this, both with religious and non-religious people. Atheists are the biggest offenders. Even tho I'm a non-believer, I am constantly told I don't know what I'm talking about or that I am biased because I studied religion. Actually, the discussion is about religion, which makes me the qualified one to talk about it in this discussion. People rarely like what I have to say...those that do are generally academics from the same areas. Why do you think that is? Whether it is creationism, climate change deniers, or anti-vaxxers, uneducated people, both men and women, think they know more than experts because they read some book or watched a YouTube video. Sorry, but not every time a man explains something to a woman is sexist.

Sometimes people (mainly girls) should consider if what they choose to wear is really appropriate for the location, or the occasion or activity, or if it will make them stand out and get (unwanted?) attention. Last summer, hot day, walking down our market-town, cobbled main street with her mum (I assume) was a girl, didnt, really look older than 15/16, amongst the shoppers.I have never seen a pair of shorts look smaller in my life, nice figure nice tan and around half her cheeks hanging out. He is 100% when it comes to rape culture and it is the man's responsibility to control his actions. That being said, he also said that he may have been aroused and didn't act on it. That's exactly another point. What you wear may arouse a man, so you may catch him looking at you, but that doesn't make a guy a pervert or predator, but it also doesn't make catcalling and things like that acceptable.
