Definitely NTA in this respect, but, I did feel uncomfortable about the whole "I pay the mortgage" argument. That is a totally different matter and shouldn't have been dragged up in these circumstances. If the OP can't fit a lock herself, I would get a handyman round quick smart. And keep the keys.

MIL insisting to nap in marital bed because she 'likes it', over and against your wants, needs and preferences.... stepping between your marriage, causing damaging conflict to harmony of household, putting her son up against his WIFE.... Sounds like divide and conquer..... it doesn't sound like it's really about the naps in the bed.... sounds like she wants ALL of the Ukraine..... I don't think I'd trust either the husband or the mother-in-law from what was written. I'd make my case and restate that my bed was off limits and then buy a really well hidden nanny cam and point it at the bed. That way you could check on the shenanigans that the two mooches get up to while you're gone. Also, consider marriage counseling and or a divorce attorney to get your ducks in a row. Just in case... When I read baby I assumed an infant. A one year who keeps crying? Maybe it is time for a visit to the pediatrician. They must live in a warrm climate to be taking the "baby" outside. For those commenting that the sister had plenty of time to hire a babysitter or nanny you are missing the point. The sister had no intention of hiring someone that she would have to pay and I assume the catered meal.

I was 9 when I went into puberty. By then I had hips, 36DD cup and not an ounce of extra fat on me besides that.. perfect hourglass and wasp waist. I felt fat. No one else looked like I did, so I hated it. Now I'm in my 40s. My body has changed. By now I wear a 38 I, and I've had kids so my hips haven't exactly shrunk any. I still feel fat. This time around I'm considerably heavier than the 90 pounds I used to be. I'm finally starting to get that I shouldn't even have listened to people when I was 9.. and still shouldn't. I'm trying to get a reduction so I can be more active (and lower my risk of cancer...) Do what makes you get out of bed in the morning, even on bad days.. *that* is your calling. You'll be happier and healthier just by doing that.. getting up and doing what you love.. what gives meaning to life for you. It will help you make healthy choices a lot more than any fad diet ever will..

I lived in Copenhagen the first 40 years of my life and only once felt unsafe. A man was following me, and that made me not want to go directly home, så I went down a different street. He still followed and the fear made me very angry so at last I turned around and hissed at him to leave me alone. That is when I found my eyes would shoot lightning when I was that angry. It was mirrored in his eyes. He literally backed off and went away.

UGH I NEED THIS! I’ve developed quite early for my age, and am self-conscious whenever I see another girl that looks nothing like me (which is everyone in my grade). My body type is like the girl on the right’s, and I’m still in middle school. Well, my breasts and waist are a bit smaller, but still. That’s what I’ll prolly look like when I;m older.

When I was pregnant with my first child I knew I was having a girl. How? I have no idea. This was almost 40 years ago so I don't think there was a way to find out the gender. If there was, it wasn't offered to me. I picked out a girl name. No boy name. I have joked that if I had a boy I would have left him at the hospital. Be careful what you joke about. Ten years later I had fraternal twins. Both BOYS. My daughter has told me she wishes she had an older brother. In our case she needed to come first because both of my sons are Autistic and she has been a support to me for them.

So you think the tenant could see what was happening under the bathtub? Maintenance was sent to my apartment because there was apparently a leak coming in the under my toilet. I hadn't seen any evidence of a leak. There was no water on the floor around the toilet. The contractor had to remove my toilet to make the repair. He had to replace floor tiles and put down plaster and grout. It had to dry overnight before he could replace the toilet. Fortunately we have 2 bathrooms

Unique (Savers stores in Chicago) remodeled stores which was nice. But later shut down stores. I don't live near one. Once I drove to a store and discovered that it had been shut down. I was furious because I had gone to the website before going and there was no mention of it. I called their customer service and gave them a piece of my mind. The employee acknowledged that was wrong.

It is really annoying when guys want to compare notes with a female's world, especially with your height and weight. You may get robbed and hit, but MOST likely not kidnapped or raped and then made to feel like its your fault because you were out at night. Get real. You may be cautious and aware, but it would be nothing compared to what a female has to be. Safety is a given for everyone, but females have it way much harder than you and that is in anywhere they go.

This aint just women. I'm a 32 male, 6'"1 and 250 pounds. Walking home at midnight downtown last night I had my hands out of my pockets, earbuds were put away, eyes up and alert, while only sticking to well-lit areas. It's a matter of safety.

This is the best one IMHO. SOOOOOO TRUE!!! Always be on guard. Though I'd recommend against anything that'd block hearing including just one earbud. I'd also text a friend ahead of time so they know when you are arriving and to look out for you/know when you should have arrived if you go missing or if something happens. If going to a venue or bar or busy place I also ask for a male friend to meet me outside as to not be harassed when passing drunks, hoards of dudes, etc. on the way in. Park under/near street lights. Look and listen & be aware of anyone who may be around you before going to unlock your car or bike. Get in quick & lock the doors. If biking, go as fast as possible through darker areas. Keep focused. If walking, try to not look female if possible. Keep your hair tucked. Walk fast. Have keys in grip and be ready to shank! <3 Get home safe! <3 Text friends to let them know you made it home.

Take out both ear buds. Straighten your back, hold head high, keep your bloody hands free of phones or whatever. Keep your keys turned through your knuckles like brass knuckles. Try to always look confident. These are some rules my big brother gave me when I went off to college. He was special forces and he taught me quick but effective ways to defend myself. Keeping your head up and being confident sends a don't mess with me message. If you have to use the kick to the coconuts, make sure you kick them HARD! Push "those coconuts into his throat" hard. Then when they are down, kick them again in the eyes, face or into the side of a knee. You want them unable to see or run after you. Best trick he taught me was when grabbed, swing around quick enough to surprise him, men don't expect a fight, quick him as I described and when his head is coming down to grab himself, bring your other knee under his chin to snap his head back. Once that's done take off grabbing your cell to call 911.

It's better for them to be supported by your hand than to hold them around their stomachs. The baby will let you know when it's time for a cuddle, then turn them around to let them nuzzle into your neck for comfort. Mine loved curling up with his head just under my chin. I think he enjoyed my heartbeat.
