Like tabloids starting articles with "25-year-old mechanic" (M) or "25-year-old mom" (V). Except for influencers, weird.
Being a woman can be amazing for many reasons. The bond that female friends share with one another is incredibly special, and I always feel so safe and supported while in a room that’s full of other women. But along with the highest highs come some of the lowest lows.
It’s certainly not a cake walk to be a woman, and it never has been. Obviously, one of the most challenging aspects is dealing with sexism, which never seems to let up. A 2020 study from the United Nations found that a whopping 90% of men and women are biased against women. And sadly, a third of women report that their careers have been negatively impacted by s*xual harassment.

Getting married, having children and becoming a stay-at-home mother sounds wonderful to some people. And that’s great if that’s what you choose! I've been arrested once in my life, so far, and it was bc I beat up my ex husband.
Meanwhile, throughout a traditional marriage, the wife may have almost no power in the relationship if her husband is allowed to call all the shots. He makes all the money, so he may feel entitled to decide how all of it is spent. And this can leave a wife and mother feeling trapped in the relationship, even if she’s unhappy. It’s certainly not easy to navigate a sexist world as a woman, but for the vast majority of us, the answer is not to give up all of your autonomy. It’s to continue fighting for more freedom, especially for women who experience even more oppression due to the country they live in, the color of their skin or being part of the LGBTQ+ community.

What is wrong about pubic hair? Just let it be. It's alright as is...? Armpit, legs ... whatever you like to shave, shave ... whatever you don't want to, don't. Would be my reaction. I had to start skipping through I was too angry to keep reading this s**t. We know not all men think like this, but too many, far, far too many do. There are times I am ashamed to be male and this is one of them, I apologise to all women for the aggression, dismissal, abuse, objectification, threats and all negative behaviours exhibited here in all their foul misplaced pride and undeserved ego. I know it doesn't help but, I am so sorry you have to suffer through such utter b******t from too many men every day.

While the men who wrote this are arseholes, weaklings who try to compensate for their fear of women through pushing them down, the greater problem is how little pushback they get. Dilute these posts by 50% and a lot of men will agree. "Yeah, women are better at household stuff", "yeah, the extra stitch for the father is kinda funny". Discussion about r**e? It's all about "but what if I get falsely accused?", meanwhile their chance of getting r***d themselves are way higher.

Here’s my (not so) hot take for today. Marriages should share equally, but according to ability. For example, if a woman prefers cooking more, then she should, but if she doesn’t and the man does, then he should - this applies in same s*x marriages too

People are seriously getting polarized over everything... Life is grey, not black and white. Some men need to understand that we're not living at the begginning of the 20th century and stop being toxic just to seem very macho. And some women need to understand that yes, we need each other and no gender can "do it all alone" (or shouldn't for that matter). At the end of the day... We're here to make families. Love each other, respect each other. Only as a team we can function!
