A little context since I see it coming up in a few comments. The guy responsible was fined about $2,000; it was 10,000 Brazilian Reals. He used a chemical called Blue Lake that's used to help dye large bodies of water like ponds and swimming pools. It's not harmful to living creatures in the right quantities and testing revealed no adverse or lasting effects in this case. The waterfall was only one source of water for the river, which itself is the water supply for the town, but as said they were in a drought in the first place.

He still potentially contaminated a source of water supply, which is against the law and should have been fined way higher. Stupid kids who throw soap into fountains get charged for a felony, so this kind of thing should be handled like that too.

This is a lie. If the associated town is drought-stricken, do they somehow not know about the waterfall surrounded by moss and other green plants? BTW, you need a lot of water to get moss so this fictional town isn't drought-stricken, if anything it's uninformed.

A product used to dye large bodies of water, like a pond, so it appears a beautiful blue. It doesn't harm any living things, but when used in high concentrations like this apparently. Plus, it provides water to the town. These products are made to dye bodies of water that do not provide a water supply. Just Google pond dye or lake dye.

22 July 2023, on I-76 North in Dalton-Whitfield County, Georgia, USA. The $380.000 Lamborghini Aventador was driven by 36 years old Spencer Hyde. While speeding at 160 km/h, he lost control and crashed into the trailer. The car driving erratically had been reported to the Georgia State Patrol who was looking for it, and arrived promptly on the crash site. The driver had light injuries, despite the look the survival cell on the driver side was not deformed, as evident by the door still working properly...

It happened on 24 July 2023. A huge multi-day storm hit the whole region from the 18 to the 25th July, causing massive damage to cars, buildings and trees. Several thousands of trees were uprooted or severely damaged, prompting the closure of all major parks for several week to bring them back to acceptable safety levels. Hail as big as 10 centimeter in diameter was reported, as well as about 30.000 lighting strikes.

We had a beautiful winding road through the moors back home. Hairpin turns and long sweeping bends. Great driving on summer days at reasonable speeds. Not so good in the damp at the same speed. It got so bad the police used a helicopter to tag speeders and they turned the bikes and cars into little cubes as a deterrence. Stopped the endless deaths and serious injuries.
