Breakage is costly but the strings (even on blinds without an adjustment string/line) can easily choke a curious creature even without the blinds themselves breaking. I have witnessed it firsthand. In an effort to prevent others from the same heartache, I must recommend that furry folks be vigilant in maintenance and aware of the dangers.
