Corgis are known to be very affectionate towards their owner and family; they just love to please their humans and never get bored of following them around. Many of these dogs doesn't have corgi in them. Just because a dog has short legs, doesn't mean it's a corgi mix. Neither corgis nor dalmatians have mustaches e.g, so this one, is either a (short legged) wire haired dog + dalmatian mix, or a mix between several breeds.

WRONG. Breeds are an invention of man. The "purebred" myth is just inbreeding, which causes mutations and sickly dogs. This is why humans are not supposed to inbreed. ALL breeding needs to STOP. Until the shelters are all empty, no more puppies should me made. It is sick to profit from breeding while shelter animals are destroyed.
So dogs should become extinct. How about people go through all the health screening and dna checks that good purebred breeders do before they have kids? How about people that breed dogs without certification get huge fines instead of cash in their pocket. There's a right and a wrong way to do things and it's people that don't desex pet dogs or think it would be a good experience for their kids or want their dog to experience motherhood before desexing that need educating. Committed breeders know the bloodlines of their dogs and all the potentially inheritable traits and breed for good health not money. A dog with no papers is like a person with no family tree & it's ignorance that's the problem here. The whole system needs an overhaul.

Sooooo… The dogs that come about by stray dogs breeding would then stop?? I’m pretty sure there is a mixture of both..strays and ones that are forfeited that fill these shelters . I actually have a Corgi-Black Lab mix that I rescued a few years ago and he is such a character. What we need are more responsible Pet Owners.
Yes, inbreeding is bad. You need to research other lines and work with other breeders. Look what happened to the Egyptians and the European lines. Catherine of Aragon's sister Juana's husband died. She put his head in a box and packed it everywhere with her. Hmm ok. Cuz that's not crazy. Henry VI of France went off the deep end once in a while and believed that he was made of glass.
What needs to stop is adopting puppies out to irresponsible people who cant commit to taking care of their fur baby for life. That way they don't end up in shelters thrown away after they get bored of them. I have family dogs that are 3rd generation started from my grandmother. I plan to keep it going so that my kids have the 4th-5th generation of puppies linked to family.

We have a Corgi German shepherd mix and it happened naturally. My friends female Corgi was visited my her neighbors male gsd. We love our dog, she's unique and quite silly. She has the perfect mix of features and personality!

I had a corgi x cavalier 20 yrs ago who was the sweetest little girl with a beautiful nature & once met never forgotten. She lived to be 14 with no health issues until a tumour on her spleen was found the day she went to rainbow bridge.
