PixelFaker is back on Bored Panda with even more funny and original movie mash-ups! They are a Hungarian artist who makes film parodies by taking characters from different motion pictures and placing them in new and unexpected scenarios. In this way, the artist creates a fresh and entertaining take on familiar films.

PixelFaker's mash-ups often highlight the similarities and differences between the films and characters they work with, and bring a new perspective to the original stories. Their unique approach to film parody not only provides entertainment but also encourages audiences to think about the movies in new ways.

Bored Panda got in touch with PixelFaker again to learn more about their creative process and themselves! Firstly, we asked how their journey as an artist started and whether they tried any other forms of art! PixelFaker said that they're exploring different mediums all the time to this very day. "I used to make caricatures and funny drawings in several newspapers, which were published in print. Hand drawings in black and white style."

After being asked how they came up with the idea to create movie mash-ups, the artist replied that when they were actively working as a freelance graphic designer, unfortunately, there came a point when they were completely burnt out. "That's when I started going in a different direction, where I could be my own boss."

The most challenging part of the creative process for PixelFaker is to acquire the visual material, "I always look for high-resolution scenes, but this is difficult with an old film."

The artist gets their ideas from imagination and... well, fantasy. "If I can, I watch a lot of movies/series, but sometimes I only look at their movie posters, and then the parody is born."

PixelFaker revealed that everything they do is coming from their heart. "If I can make people smile, it already means something."

Good choice! According to Google: "This film tells the story of a few uneventful days in the life of six pals. Lali, a great fan of America, owns a sandwich stand on the side of the road, .."
