There's a guy on YouTube who does this. He intentionally gets bitten/stung by venomous animals all over the world and rates the pain. His name is Coyote Peterson and he has a show on Animal Planet too. Apparently he's a wildlife educator. 🙄

Or insect bites and pain was just his kink and he just tried to get the best out of it.

This made me think of the "games" my roommates and I would play in college; pretty much all of them involved who could withstand different painful things the longest. It was usually a tie between me and the only other girl in the flat.

I actually love this guy. He was a researcher on venom and actually has a book about each of the stings. Sadly he passed a few years ago but not before making some great documentaries.

He said the Gympie Gympie tree and a particular type of wasp were the worst if I remember correctly.

The Kings Of Pain have been mentioned here once but it surprises me that more people haven't mentioned them more or seem to not even know them. They are an Aussie and American duo that took Schmidt's findindings and took it further by filling in the gaps of many species and subspecies of both the animals he tested AND missed out. K.O.P. have tested giant centipedes, different spiders, lionfish, jellyfish, Gila monster bite, and the bite and fang damage of a python,..which was brutal! Some of the experiments really put them in very bad shape for up to a day and had them feeling the effects days after and obviously, in some cases, left them with permanent physical scars. It's Two Seasons worth of programmes and if that's your thing (like it is mine lol) then I suggest you check them out. They do have a permanent medic with them that checks them over constantly after each of their 'sessions' (they usually do two to three animals an episode and both guys do them and then compare their experiences on initial pain,...
