30 Times People Posted Something So Unhinged, It Deserved To Be Shamed In The “Ok, Boomer” Online Group
There’s always going to be at least some simmering tension between members of different generations. Older gens are likely to think that young people these days lack work ethic (and have awful taste in music) while the latter are likely to resent some of their seniors for being disconnected from reality and being ‘stuck’ in their ways.
You can see how different this mentality is by taking a peek at the memes different generations share. And that’s where the ‘Ok, Boomer’ Facebook group comes in. It’s an online community whose members post memes that Baby Boomers would enjoy, gently poking fun at their perspective on life. Of course, all of this is done for the sake of a bit of fun, not to be mean. Scroll down for the (un)funniest Boomer memes and upvote the ones you disliked the most. The cringe is heavy here, so watch your step, Pandas.

It's not a dress, it's a thobe and it's the standard dress for MEN here in the Middle East. I'm sure whatever loser created this meme thinks he did something clever, though, even if a 2 minute google search would point out it's inaccuracy.
If this is trying to make a connection between Jesus and drag queens then what an utter bu****t … and I’m not even religious 🤦🏼♀️
Oh is that what it's about? I thought it was priests cos the wear dresses
Load More Replies...@Al Joy Jesus is literally god’s son (according to the bible) why in the world wouldnt he be Christian.
Load More Replies...So it's ok to insult another culture's attire if we are vilifying people? That's a hollow argument. Calling traditional Middle Eastern clothing a dress reduces its modern and historical significance to an offensive joke.
Jesus. The only man allowed to wear a dress and talk about feeling with complete strangers. Sounds legit.
yall i thought this about the laws on drag why are we on abt religion😭
This seems to be a growing trend on Bored Panda. Make a post based on a stereotype of a particular demographic, include lots of click-baity titles and memes to really fuel the outrage. They do it to the US nearly weekly, and it looks like today boomers are the focus. These lists typically generate lots of anger, which means more views and comments, which means more traffic, which means more ad revenue for BP.
Load More Replies...I hope this stays number one. I'm a Gen Xer and I've watched as the boomers actively slammed all the doors behind them that their parents and grandparents literally died to open. MLK Jr was assassinated for saying Black Lives Matter and got the Civil Rights Act passed. 50 years later cops are still shooting black people at rallies and getting away with no charges. 9 Greatest Generation judges gave us Roe v Wade so a boomer woman could have control over her body. 9 Boomer judges ended that for their grandchildren. Two laws in the 31 years that boomers have been leaders of the free world (Clinton in '92) have been passed to increase the minimum wage and it hasn't gone up in 14 years.
Wait, wait, wait. I'm on the second stage of Boomers, born in '56. We were the ones after Korea. We got out of elementary school the day JFK got shot. We stayed at home and watched his funeral. My parents had just moved from Memphis and I was watching TV (only 3 channels) when Martin Luther King was killed. And I was watching TV when Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed. You seem not to know that my generation was a part of the March on Washington, the chance to hear Martin Luther King to hear the "I have a Dream" speech. We grew up protesting the Vietnam War, both black and white (solders were chosen by birth date, not by race) and several of my friends died there. I refuse to excuse the history of my South Carolina as far as slavery is concerned. It was an inexcusable fact of the state I live in now. But I cannot accept blame for something that happened before I was born. Yes, I do still live in the deep South and I deeply regret that it's Republican status. All I can do it vote
Load More Replies...Well, for the most part, I agree with Margot. It seems on certain days, some generation is the target. Not just Boomers, sometimes others. This is not helpful. It doesn’t help for discourse between the generations. I get it Gen Z. We are responsible for every s****y thing in the world. No we aren’t. Sometimes it’s from the generation before us, and yes, even the one before that. There are certain words to a song out there that says “Every generation blames the one before” (Mike and the Mechanics somewhere in the 90’s.) We blamed the ones before ours. Check out history. The Vietnam War protests. Angela Davis and the Black Lives Matter movement of our day. Oh, check out Woodstock. We were all over The Establishment. Bernie Sanders still lives there, bless him. But then some things never change about the world. Most of us do not think as above. We just don’t listen to each other. Generations never have because each one thinks they know it all. None of us do.
Part 2: OMG I’m preaching!🤪 We felt towards & said to our previous generations what you are saying to us. It’s called life. For all of us. But as I keep saying, & not Gen Z, or any before us will get this right now, but 40 to 50 years from now your turn will come. You’ll be blamed for all that is wrong in the world. You’ll be thought of as rude & opinionated & you don’t give a c**p about the younger generations because you think they’re lazy, entitled, & they know nothing. BTW. Blame Hollywood for the whole greed, kill yourself for money & that’s all you value. Step over everyone to get to the very rich top of the heap. The movie Wall Street. The proclamation “Greed is good”. And we’re off. Whatever happened to Network “I’m mad as he!!, & I’m not going to take it anymore!”. Maybe we all need to go back there right now. A protest sign I saw from a Boomer. “I’m 60 years old and I can’t believe I’m still having to protest this s**t”. Some of us do get it you know.
Load More Replies...Criticizing boomers is trending on many websites, not just BP. I have recently discovered that I am selfish and greedy and screwed many younger people out of their livelihoods. thanks for the info.
I'm a gen x kid with silent generation parents. We all seem to agree that the dynamic is a kind of the sweet spot for people who make memes forgetting we exist lol. Not saying the relationships are all sweetness and rainbows but, if anything, we all get to giggle at boomer jokes (and millennial jokes) and that is definitely one way to bring families together :)
For me: "We raised you to be entitled brats, but we take zero responsibility."
*Ahem (cough) ... Let's think about plastic, asbestos and fossil fuels. All were once herald as "miraculous" now we are all facing the fallout from these "miracle uses".
Sure, and then let's think about computers, satellite navigation, TV-on-demand and common diseases that don't kill anyone any more. And also please remember that all of the things you mentioned pre-date the baby boomer generation by many years.
Load More Replies...Actually… if you asked your aunt patty a question she would tell you the wrong answer and you would go your whole life with the wrong answer when our generation just looks it up.
Being older may not make us right, but it does mean we can cut back on your pocket money.
there is a saying here: "wisdom comes with age." but sometimes comes just age
Yea "respect your parents and elders" goes out the fckin window when they're abusive.
To start things off, it’s important to know which generation is which because things can get really confusing, really quickly. For instance, members of Generation X end up being called Baby Boomers. While Zoomers are referred to as Millennials (who are getting on in years and becoming more Boomerish by the year. Hi!). And members of Gen Alpha are often called Zoomers.
To put it simply, Baby Boomers were born from 1946 to 1964. So the youngest Boomers would be 59 years old in 2023 while the oldest would be 77. What followed next was Generation X, aka Gen X, those born 1965 till 1979, according to ‘Caregivers of America.’

It seems like the people who create and defend anti-trans legislation often forget about transgender men
Load More Replies...And then the father went to prison for physical assault and was obliged to pay for the medical and psychological convalescence of the transwoman he attacked.
Well if it went to court they already posted they knew the person at least stated they were trans. This would clearly make it a hate crime which would make it an instant felon if it wasn't already, and in all likelihood add 3 to 5 years to the sentence. But I doubt this ever happened
Load More Replies...Once again people trying to spread fear of trans women. This is rubbish, a man can assault a woman in a hundred places without dressing up as a woman. Public bathrooms are not designed with a closed-off area, away from everyone and everything else. It's literally the worse place to assault someone.
I saw this picture posted before but it was about how she was sent home early from school because of her outfit being "inappropriate "and the father was pretty pissed
This photo is about a story of a daughter sent home from school because of the way she was dressed.
Sadly, it probably was progress, but what the mom is doing is still called justification.
Every generation hits just a little lighter than the last…we (hopefully) raise our kids better than we were raised and hope that they raise their own kids a little better than we did them…sometimes there’s regression but generally speaking things have greatly improved!
Load More Replies...I don’t in any way condone abuse, but the problem is people don’t recognize abuse until it’s too late. I can tell you without question I didn’t realize how abusive my mother was growing up. And I know she didn’t realize it either. I’m well into my forties now and still cannot have a conversation with her about anything she doesn’t want to she just gets an attitude and totally shuts you down and refuses to listen. But because we had toilet paper and feminine hygiene products growing up, she feels like she was a good mom.
I've been working in a school for 30 years, A school I also attended for 7 years - university in between. I remember being a student at the school and the difference between students then and now is vast, both academically and behaviourlly. People say it's down to societal change. Society changed from my parents generation to me. We had manners and respect. What is to blame for today's massive societal change. The internet is a fantastic technological creation. Should it's rapid development take any responsibility. People my age, have lived both pre and post internet. We still have experience of what it was like before it. I studied information Management at university, in the late 80s, using technology long outdated today. I do remember tutors forecasting the future of tech. They weren't even close. They were however, absoluteley correct about what it would do to society.

Things get slightly murkier afterward. Millennials (aka Generation Y) followed suit, but there’s some ambiguity as to what this entails. Some say that you can consider yourself a Millennial if you were born between 1980 and 1994. Others believe that the cutoff point is ‘96.
Generation Z, Zoomers, include those born roughly between 1995 and 2012. Meanwhile, Generation Alpha includes people born between 2013 and 2025. Everyone from 2026 onward will be considered part of a new generation entirely!

Therefore, growing pears domestically would require more energy and infrastructure. On the other hand, Argentina has favorable climatic conditions for pear cultivation and produces them annually. Thailand is a major market for pear juice, as shown in the picture, and often has surplus supply. As a result, Argentina exports its pears to Thailand by sea, where they ripen during transit. In Thailand, the pears are processed and packaged for export to the USA and UK.

I love how the younger generations think they know everything better. Can't wait for the know-it-all's to raise their kids. The next generation should be perfect then. (joking !!) We are all people trying for the best - each generation their own mistakes. There will be always new insights...

This is completely true: Old manuals had tons of information on how to repair stuff, explosion drawings, parts catalogs, etc.. They were empowering owners to take care of their stuff. That has changed. I don't know what this has to do with boomers though. Law suites and planned obsolescence are responsible for this. The dogs in the meme are supposed to represent the manuals not the different generations.

It only makes sense that different generations have different values when it comes to work, life, family, and purpose. A common complaint among older generations is that young people don’t work hard enough toward their goals, lack discipline, and want results too quickly. In short (and oversimplifying things), they consider younger people entitled and presumptuous.

Once again agree concerts became to expensive and too many dumb costs get added for no reason.
It's not like in the 70s concerts were cheap. A major act could cost easily 10 dollars, that are 80$ today. To ticket for Woodstock cost 18$, that are a whopping 150$. Mind you, for facilities that had barely any lighting (sound system was top notch for the time, though), no commodities or hygienic standards (it was literally a field) and minimal stage services.

To hell with the price, bring back the top picture. Rock bands playing live in stadiums. There is nothing to compare to it today. Most here wouldn't have heard of the them , but I watched Dire Straits live in a Dublin stadium. OK it was a while ago but, WOW, just WOW
My last live concert was in Philly in 1985 - Live Aid. Nothing will ever match that day of sunburn and dehydration.
Load More Replies...Yes concerts are more expensive. But when what's the last time you actually paid for music ? (aka the content artists produce to be able to listen to at your leisure in whatever format you desire?) Artists have to charge more for concerts because they don't make money off of selling albums anymore. The streaming services we all pay for pay the artists peanuts.
Kids today cannot imagine how much emotional & physical energy we put out at concerts. We rocked ourselves into exhaustion & then we were ready again for the next song. We went with our friends & bonded with others at concerts. It was really life affirming. So sad that the younger people have so much depression, isolation, & other issues due to their world becoming so sucky.
And you will mostly just hear bass frequencies as the sound men think they are controlling a car stereo.
They’re not the only ones who are vocal, though. Millennials, Zoomers, and members of Gen Alpha are likely to point out that there’s not much point in overworking yourself when there’s nothing to aim for. Buying property is incredibly expensive, meanwhile, the cost of living is through the roof.
Younger generations aren’t fond of being told to ‘drink less coffee’ and ‘eat less avocado toast,’ as though this alone would help them save up for a house. There’s a certain level of understanding that hard work alone won’t get you everything that other generations could easily get: the global economic context matters a lot, too.
All I'm thinking is that I wish I could get 2 beds/1 bath for $1000! That would cost about $3000 or more a month where I live. :(
Yeah I pay $2400 for a 1 bedroom apartment in so cal. $1000 for a house would be a dream

I mean...by that logic, the generation before that could be like "My generation grew up working in factories while your generation grew up looking for frogs, we are not the same." lol we are all just products of what is available at the time. Some days, I do think it would be great to have lived in a "simpler time," but then I think about how I can have a latte delivered to my digs at 4am without any human interaction and I'm good. 😁
Yeah your generation killed all the frogs and nature they could, no point for us to go looking for what you destroyed.
Another win for the Boomers! They know that frogs and wifi aren't the same! Gold star!
The only reason you weren't looking for a Wi-Fi signal was that Wi-Fi didn't exist, you self-righteous a*s! Honestly...!
I still look for frogs (still young) and toads, and bunnies, and snails, and snakes, and yes, even worms of I'm really bored.
Despite sometimes tense attitudes toward one another and opinions on how to live a good life, people of all generations tend to value the same things at work. Namely, flexibility, recognition, and financial stability.
According to Forbes, referring to a LiveCareer study, all generations appreciate flexible working options: 76% of Millenials expected them, as did 69% of Zoomers, and 64% of members of Gen X.
As a late Gen Xer, fück this idea that paper maps while driving is some kind of badge of honour. Map reading is a real skill, but having an electronic map that gives you audio and visual directions while driving is so much safer and more efficient. I DO NOT miss pre GPS driving.

Or, take away all the teens and ask boomers to plug in and program their WiFi routers, TV, and sound-bar so they can watch Netflix & Hulu. BTW - this is coming from a guy who *is* old enough to remember rotary phones and getting up to change to one of the only 5 channels on the B/W TV.

Funny :) I looked it up. The name comes from a now mostly obsolete usage of “good” as meaning “holy”. For example the Bible was sometimes referred to as “the good book”.
Interesting piece of information, thanks. In Spanish it's called Viernes Santo (holy Friday) and I always wondered why it was "good" in English. I'm an agnostic, so it's no offensive or anything, but I've always found it weird.

So, for folks outside the US, a trans TikTok creator did a single ad collaboration with Bud Light. The backlash against Bud Light was quick, rabid, and astounding. Conservatives took to social media, absolutely losing their minds, calling Bud Light "woke", etc. I saw a video of some guy in a grocery store, in a complete rage, trashing six packs of what he thought was Bud Light, throwing them to the floor, etc. Turns out it was Busch, or something. All this uproar about what another person does with their penis🙄 I always want to yell at people " It's not your penis, why do you care!?" But oh no, if bud light had 2 hot girls kissing in a tik tok ad, it might be a wee controversial, but no one would be clutching their pearls.

Why is there such a big deal about writing in cursive, I learned to write in cursive in primary school, then spent my comprehensive school days learning to not write in cursive, because it looked awful.
I changed primary schools in Y5/J3. New school did not do cursive and trained me out of it. My handwriting improved immensely. Doesn't mean I don't still join up, just not to the ridiculous extent that cursive insists on.

To the baby boomer BPs, would you accept a cashier job paying minimum wage? (I’m not trying to be rude, I’m genuinely curious)
I did. I made $3.35 an hour in the mid 80s in Wisconsin at a pizzeria. I got trained as a dental assistant in Wisconsin for $5.00 an hour and then worked my way through college at an average of $8.50 an hour working in a dental office. I got my first job post college in 1999 at 30k plus benefits. I make 6 figures a year with 15 years to early retirement. I came from a house that often had no food in the cupboards. I never had new clothes and 1 summer my mother couldn't afford to buy me shoes. I sliced my foot open that summer but I was never mad at my mother for being poor. I don't think it's necessary to start from nothing like I did or that it's right to work and still not have enough for rent, food, medicine but I do think that you should take an active role in getting yourself into a better position. Sometimes that requires belief in yourself and some risk. Whatever you decide to do (go to school or start a business) remember a lot depends on you.

Actually high heels can put a lot of strain on your legs. The explain it like I'm 5 version is: your legs are some of the biggest muscles in your body. The bigger the muscle the more the exercise will increase testosterone levels. So I'd be willing to bet there is an argument to be made that high heels can increase testosterone. A skirt should be cooler around the nethers and promote higher sperm count too. Higher sperm count and testosterone = more of a man. At least that's how I think these people think

Cash has been criminalized by the wealthy to keep the rest of us in debt.
Keep cash. If there is no cash anymore, Banks will have the monopoly on your money. They can charge you for the use of it even more then now. What would you be able to do witdraw all your money???
With cash you have to spend hours a week counting, banking, getting change, checking nothing is missing. With the other methods they might take 1%, but the convenience makes it worth it, since the client pays it, and the price rises that 1% just in the first year.
It’s a lot more complicated than that. And not even a matter of cost (or tax evasion) Wonder why some very developed countries still favor cash? Think Germany

Load More Replies...Doesn’t Jesus reference himself as “I am He”? two pronouns in one sentence…
This might have something to do with the way plurals work in English. 'Demons' means there's more than one demon. Therefore it's correct to use 'they, them, we, us'. Just in the same way you would say, "Tom, Nancy, Harold and Sophie went to church. There they listened to the preacher. We joined them in the restaurant afterwards. The waitress wasn't happy with the mess we made, and scowled at us.'
S**t, seriously? Do they really? Im sorry to report I haven't read much of the Bible.
Yes, they do. The reason for that being that they were possessing a human and using the human to speak for them. One man had 7 legions of demons "in" him, so it makes perfect sense to use these pronouns.

As diplomatic as I've tried to be here, I don't doubt for a second that racism is a huge part of the reason why many people don't like the new movie, which isn't even out yet.

yes you told me a lot of toss, even contradicting yourself so it's normal that some of it might become true
For those reading this who are not Americans: no, you're not alone, millions and millions of other people don't get it, either.
I’m an American, not a very young one either, I have no idea who these people are

Aunt Jemima syrup, Uncle Ben's rice, Land o'Lakes butter were forced to remove visible minorities from their packaging. 2 of them had to change their brand names.
Load More Replies...To everybody confused: There used to be a maple syrup brand named "Aunt Jemima" wich featured the racist characterure of a "black mammy." This is racist because white people used to di blackface and make fun of us black people, by pretending to be "mammies," because white ladies had black women "nanny" their babies. There was also a famous butter brand called "Land O Lakes" which inapporipatley portrayed a Native American person as their logo.
sorry for all of the typos! i would edit but I'm too lazy
Load More Replies...I don't get this one ... Are the right-wingers now afraid of Canadians because they eat *gay* pancakes with syrup and butter?
It´s about racism. "Aunt Jemima" pancake mix had a name change in 2021.
Load More Replies...I have this one ! They refer to the brands removing non-white characters on their products : Aunt Jemima because "aunt" had a raacist use, and Land O'Lakes with a native american.
A new hobby? Spend time with your family and loved ones, f**k the giant capitalist machine!
Having a hobby does not necessarily mean buying expensive materials for it. Hiking can be a hobby and it requires no materials besides clothing, food and water... which you need anyway ;)
Load More Replies...Yeah, get with the program ladies. Why would you want equality between the sexes when you can respect masculinity? /S this is so cringe I hope it was a joke.
If only that were the only thing... please don't forget about everything else he wrote! I'm with you on this one!! Really hope it was just a joke, and he's the master of "dripping sarcasm"
Load More Replies...Haha yes exactly!! Shoutout to "all" those ladies ? Both of them locked in his basement more like.
Load More Replies...So he likes fit, masculine women? What’s the problem here (aside from the fact that his grammar skills are conveying a very different message than the one he intended)
Idk who needs to hear this but it became legal for women to show their ankles in the 1890's.
I thought it was the mismatching...I like mismatched just call me Dobby
Load More Replies...I disagree. My socks have a casual relationship with each other. Finding a match is a unicorn quest. It's not a statement, it's a reality.
I'm happy if both socks came from the same multipack, that's the closest to matching I get.

Of course all millennials aren't idiots. These two are, though.
Load More Replies...It is true that not all millennials are idiots. However, it is also true that people who vote for someone who overtly advocates for policies that will harm them definitely are missing the point.
Real men just drink the drink they enjoy regardless of marketing or can design
I am 40+ and still enjoy some cold strawberry milk. And I do not give a f**k what you all think about me.
Load More Replies...John Ford called him some nasty names for not serving in WW2. Ford did, despite being old and blind in one eye.
And then he denigrated kids that didn't want to go to Viet Nam
Load More Replies...Is this another 1 complain about a singular trsns person on a beer advert who as far as ik wasn't even on any of the cans??? And was a trans woman therefore according to this idiot's logic a "man" or do they mean something else?
That's not real bear, it's watered down donkey p**s, you wanna have some real beer, try some of the Belgium Abbey beers.
...still not a good enough reason to drink Coors. Give me a good Irish brew.
Screw John Wayne. That little b***h did everything in his power to avoid serving during WWII but wanted to play army in movies while "real men" went off to defend the country.
Stupid joke. Greta is a real person, so there's no way she would look like this in a movie.
I find it hilarious, actually. Nothing against inclusion, but Disney sometimes seems like they're forcing it instead of representing it.
Load More Replies...To be fair the US movie industry does tend to make light of any old culture that contains white people, all at once seeming to brush all caucasian origin countries under one comb and blending them into their own messed up white supression history guilt/punishment array. Seeing it from the outside from a different culture can feel really alien and weird. The new Vikings series apparently has a black actor playing a viking warrior, and personally I don't mind that, but it IS like changing history or can be seen as altering cultural origins, and I can see why that makes some people upset (though not people from the US, why do you care??). Doing something like that right looks like Bridgertons, and that was an AMAZING show! 😍
No problem...just go ahead and enroll your child in an institution that does not have to deal with anyone different than them. "course you better have the Benjamins, cause THAT'S how they roll. For- profit education.
I have no idea what Kristy's point is. In fact, I have no clue what Kristy is trying to tell me at all.
All I know is Kristy did a severely horrible job at remaining anonymous.

My rent in a college town was 200 a month from 90 to 92, first in a 2 bedroom apt, then in a six bedroom house. I averaged around 15 an hour as a delivery driver at a sub shop. Tuition was around 1500 a semester at a very good state school. It was hard then, but sooooo much easier than today. It is absolutely harder now, and getting more so all the time.
Kristy hasn't't a gud they're there aren't nopen't yesum ain't it.
Kids in my NA group from back when used to panhandle all day then brag about how they made $300 standing outside safeway. Also the ones trying to sell me drugs. But you should help people that really need it
Yes it's tragic enough when men are immasculated by their own drink let alone somebody else's.
Load More Replies...I just saw a video of some idiot smashing beer bottles in a supermarket to protest... um... beer not being transphobic enough? so yeah, they're struggling badly 😊

And all the hatred spread on a daily basis in the name of God and Jesus Christ strikes as something very unchristian.. but hey, what do I know?
But he does! He just wants the real best for his children, maybe being transgender wasn't actually what was meant for him. Like a good parent, you wouldn't want your child drinking at 5 because it could ruin them./gen

Shouldn't really hire without in-person meeting. Employers need visual clues to make important decisions that affect their business and their clients.

Given how bizarre trump's NFTs are it's difficult to know if this one was shopped by someone pro trump or mocking him. It's getting difficult to make memes more ridiculous than the ones he is making of himself.
Is that supposed to be Trump? It doesn't look like him it actually loos like Martin Sheen to me.

Is this Trump? No man his equal? I've got a fried egg on my plate that could outsmart him!
This Photoshops are so funny. The dude is like 300lbs and doesn't exercise.
I mean, they're not wrong - he doesn't have an equal. Just at the opposite end of the spectrum to what they're trying to imply
BP 'Racism? The horror!', 'Misogyny? The horror', 'Homophobia? The horror!', 'Transphobia? The horror!' ?Ageism? Hey, we sure are cool with that!'

I really wish there was a ban on BP of the "This Gen V that Gen" stuff. It is divisive and the last thing this world needs is more factions of society attacking others.
Lest we forget... Boomers were a generation of people who bucked the establishment. They did everything to "stick it to the man". They were refused employment because of their hair and how they dressed. They were locked up simply for protesting. To quote the Cylons from the new Battlestar Galactica "this has all happened before, and it shall happen again". It's a cycle. The older generations lament on what the younger ones are doing when they did the exact same things. Same with my generation (gen X). We thought we were going to change the world too. One day the current generation will look at their children's children and be like "well in my day..." and the look on their faces will be priceless.
Age has a way of sneaking up on people. One day they will wake up and realize they are the same age as old people.

As one has to keep reminding people - all of the tech that they are using to create and post this stuff originates from the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Sir Tim Berners-Lee. My (boomer) generation understood video recorders and games in a way that our parents didn't; there will be things that the kids of the future understand that the current kids don't. 'Twas ever thus.
How come when someone does something wrong, stupid, or entitled, their generation’s blamed for it too? There’s plenty of jerks in every generation, and there’s plenty of nice people. Not all Gen Z people are self-centered brats. Not all boomers are entitled old people. It’s just stupid, we need to stop putting people in categories based on their age, or at the very least stop stereotyping them.
This is one of the most negative and devisive posts I've seen on BP. These controversial subjects bring out the worst in people of all demographics. Lately, it seems there are more haters joining and downvoting anyone who asks a question or expresses a traditional belief. Any reference to the Bible or morality is instantly down voted to oblivion. I read Bored Panda for amusement and entertainment and to exchange friendly comments, facts and opinions with others. I've learned a lot from this page and wish the moderators would concentrate less on censoring commonly used words and more on restricting trolls and haters.
