To help decipher the internet-famous and genuinely odd feline behavior so often used for funny cat jokes and images, Bored Panda reached out to Molly DeVoss, a certified feline training and behavior specialist who runs Cat Behavior Solutions agency.
Molly said that each cat’s motivation to act as if they’re aiming to turn into funny cat jokes is a very individual thing. “Some cats do silly things to get our attention; we run and get our cameras, cooing and paying attention to them.” This attention that we shower our felines with is precisely what reinforces their seemingly odd behavior.
Meanwhile, “other cats are bored and are trying to find outlets for pent-up energy,” Molly said. Being both prey and predator animals, most cats’ instincts are still pretty powerful. As your house is their new jungle, you see the behavior that makes them jumpy, goofy, silly, yet absolutely adorable.
In fact, this precise feature that we don’t really know what to expect from them is what makes our felines the perfect material for cat funny jokes. “Whatever the motivation for the strange behaviors, it’s always good to pay attention to your cat and tell it how much you appreciate the laugh,” Molly concluded.

I think its because their wiskers are sensitive and it they eat the food their wiskers will touch the side of the bowl. I sae it somewhere at idk if its true.

It's called whisker fatigue. They are trying to keep their very sensitive whiskers away from the sides of the bowl.

Reality - Whisker fatigue - the cat doesn't eat the outer bits as the whiskers hits the edges of the bowl and the continuous triggering of them as it eats, is unpleasant to the cat. Serve them the food in a low-edge bowl, and this won't be a problem.
Will someone please explain to me why my cat will only eat the center part of her dry kibbles, leaving the spiky parts around the edges in the bowl. Refusing to add more food to the bowl until she's eaten them does not work, she would starve first. Why?
Get a Whisker Dish - cats don't have the snout to get into the corners/edges
Cats have very sensitive whiskers and that's why they hate eating from the edges of a bowl.
I do that all the time, not because of spiders but because she meows non stop as she wants to sniff the ceiling for some reason
