That's not right, pigs are social, intelligent, friendly animals who (it is who, not that) enjoy playing, running, mudbathing and almost obsessively seperate feeding areas from places to conduct bilogically unavoidable emissions. That's just the sexually inappropriate part mentioned about him. The fact that he hated black South Africans so much that while in South Africa he demanded separate entrances for black people and Indians is often brushed under the carpet as well as his blatant refusal to share a prison cell with black people because according to him, they were inferior to his people. Yes, some of his political ideas have merit and relevance but the man was racist and bigoted who held some really problematic views and encouraged the glorification and continuation of the caste system in the subcontinent that made millions of people slaves of those belonging to the upper caste Hindus. He believed untouchables should remain untouchables and the fact that this man is valorised while having endorsed and participated in such systemic oppression is extremely unfortunate.

While he did good things for the people of India suffering under the yoke of British Colonialism, he also held very racist views against black people. It's a lesson to appreciate the good people can do but to not idolize them totally. The balance of their acts still must be carefully assessed.

The stories some of the nurses who worked in the children's wards he visited have some stories about him that would make your toes curl, to the point they told children to pretend to be asleep before he turned up so that he would avoid them. I remember seeing random episodes of his shows and always wondering, "Why the hell are feet involved in this? How did this pass the editing/writers room?" Met Jack Hanna once at a zoo charity. He had wandering hands when he took pictures with girls.
I know Jack through a family friend who used to buy animals from him. She bought them to save them from those canned hunt things.

Nobody who hawks out baby animals for tv and film is a good person. Unless it is absolutely necessary to save the animal's life, no young animal should be hand-reared, especially if the reason for handrearing is for the purposes of making the animal "tame" and compliant.

He’s tried to convince women he’s dating to get a rib surgically removed so he can eat it.

I largely put that last part to avoid the wrath of Depp stans that buy into the myth that he was abused and a victim of domestic violence. There have been celebrity abusers for generations, anything from killers to just creepy ones. And don't get me started w/the abuse of power either, it doesn't have to be sexual to be traumatic. In the era of me-too, it's natural we give accusations more value. That said, I'm worried about how little it takes to ruin a person's life/career. For me it's actually a relief when the accusations are at least confirmed, even if I like the person. I can't imagine what it must be like to be an innocent target. It's so very sad that most accusations turn out to be true.
