This is another example of American businesses not acquainting themselves with the labour laws of the countries in which they are present. I believe in Germany it's even illegal to be contacted after hours if you don't have given explicit consent. I've worked for an American business and our domestic HR was very busy telling US-HR that what they wanted to do or proposed to do was simply illegal here.

It doesn't matter if there is a deadline or not, contracted working hours are all you can be expected to work. If a boss cannot properly timescale a project to be completed within normal working hours then they have no business being a boss.

I'm not American but I have looked at the rights and responsibilities of state and federal law enforcement agencies, and as far as I can tell, the ICE agent had no legal authority to attempt to detain the woman or order her out of her car. ICE agents only have the right to detain those who they reasonably believe are in the USA illegally or have committed a crime relating to customs or immigration law such as smuggling etc.

Farrowing cages, like in this photo, are now being banned in the UK. They have been winding down in use for over a year but are now being outright banned. The UK is a follower of the Five Freedoms for Animals too, so it's not perfect but it is better than this. I do still campaign for a ban on cow dehorning here in the UK, I have been forced to do it, it is horrific, the anaesthetic doesn't always work, animals scream.

I don't think it is always or even usually about pretend relationships. I started off doing n*de art modelling and then later I did p*rnographic work. Very few of the people looking at my pictures or watching the few videos I did, did it because they were pretending the were in a relationship with me, they did it because they enjoyed seeing me naked, watching me m*sturbating or having s*x with other men and occasionally with women. it was the voyeurism aspect of it that they enjoyed. Things are a little different now as there is more audience interaction but for most men, the enjoyment is mostly physical and comes from watching and seeing s*xual activity. For women it is often more of an emotional thing and they do enjoy the relationship aspect of watching people performing s*xual activity.

As she is an adult, if that is what she wants to do then it is up to her, for good or ill. When I was 19 I started working as a n*de art model and then later did more explicit work. I don't regret it at all, it paid very well and enabled me to live more comfortably at university. If Onlyfans was a thing then, I would have done that. It is one of the safest forms of adult work and the most lucrative. I don't know anything about this girl or her history but it does seem as though she was exploited by her parents. As for the men who were sexualizing her as a young teen, that is definitely something her parents should have been protecting her from. Unfortunately any young girl (or boy) in the public view, be it actors, sports stars etc is going to attract unhealthy attention and her parents should have done better.

It was me that was weird. My father never spoke to me, not once. unless I was about to get beat. I was like 15-16 at my friend's house and they were watching tv, and talking to each other. Then he asked if we wanted some ice-cream, and I just had this what moment. Like it just hit me, hard, that my dad was just a horrible person.
