It'll soon be 71, and still works, after a fashion. Upon reflection, though, the main section of my house is 78 years old, and I still use *it*. But I don't quite *own* it - yet. Still paying a mortgage...

This Snap Hook For My Keys. Purchased In 1976 From An Auto Parts Store

Before I bought this snap hook I just kept my few keys in my pocket. Then I got a job where I needed to carry several more keys and it was uncomfortable to keep them all in my pocket. This snap hook attaches to a belt loop on my jeans. Since I got this hook I've very rarely misplaced my keys.

Not sure how old it is. 40? More? Still going strong, not using heaps of power (I checked). Use it for meat and garden veg and all those bits - extra cream, sauces, home made passata etc
