I have lived in many places throughout my life, but of all of them Dorset, on the south coast of the UK stands far above the rest. The sheer diversity of the county is amazing. The forests of Puddletown and Wareham. The mudflats and marshes of Poole harbour, one of the largest natural harbours in the world. The open heathland of Studland and Canford and the rolling farmland. The rugged bleakness of Portland and the Chesil bank and the Jurassic coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nowhere have I lived has such a wide variety of habitat and wildlife. I feel very lucky to live here and these are just a few of my favourite photographs I have taken of this amazing county.
