Woman Dresses Like Celebrities To Show That You Don’t Have To Be Skinny To Look Good (New Pics)
Katie Sturino, the founder of The 12ish Style and Megababe, has continued to recreate star looks, proving that celebrity style is attainable at any size.
The #SuperSizeTheLook series is now a weekly photo series on her Instagram account, where Katie recreates the look of a popular celebrity, style icon, or public figure to show that "style has no size."
Katie is also the founder of Megababe, an innovative beauty brand offering non-toxic, solution-oriented products that allow people to feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin, and about their body image.
Most recently, Katie launched "Boob Sweat," a weekly podcast that tackles often “taboo” topics such as dating in your 30s, Botox, and divorce.

okay here goes I don't see the point of copying celebrity outfits. You so called plus size ladies need to just one basic thing first of all Inever wear black. Oh my God all the things that make you look big big big because you are standing out from your surroundings. Also don't wear pastels that also makes you look big. Strive for medium tones in the colors you wear and always accessorize to create a vertical line vertical vertical vertical line. You want the other person's eye to travel up and not across just up. Basically this means you would be emphasizing everything from the waist up your Jewelry earrings hairdo hats Etc. If you are petite and plus size always always wear beige heels again you are creating a long upward line also making your legs look longer. And for God's sake please no prints!!!! t is not a print anyone designed that flatters almost any figure but especially you plus size ladies. All the print does is make you look twice as big as you are!!

I get if people like the material or construction of one dress better than the other, but as for body types, why must we compare women? Why can't we say they're both beautiful in different ways? Why does one have to be "better"? It's possible one dress is in fact better on one body type, but quite often celebrities, plus size or not, have access to better materials and a team of people to make sure they look good. That's part of their job. If we spread knowledge of how to dress one's own body type and take better photos, maybe we would stop seeing "better".

I agree, but I also think that it’s possible the outfit matches the shoes and it’s just the overcoat that does coordinate with the sportier look underneath with the joggers and God only knows what else they’re paired with under there..

The cut of the two coats is not identical. Or the plaid. A cape yoke is always more flattering because it breaks up the general mass of the coat.

I like the boots worn by the model on the right much better than Amal's shoes. From the front, they make her feet look like hooves. Anyway, don't worry so much if the skin is real. Python is an invasive species in the Everglades National Park in Florida, so consider the boots as a means of population control. BTW, I have a pair or two.

I think the pieces look strange together, but I love the shoes in both! The rest would probably look odd in any color scheme, but I also feel that although these specific colors seem to clash, pairing them is more of a statement than anything else. It stands out, does it not? 🧐🤔

The boots are fine, but the model's coat should be less shiny, with a smaller collar like Jessica's. Jessica's coat is probably real leather. Pleather is usually thinner and the texture is artificially shiny. Reminds me of one of those "high" and "low" fashion shows done on many talk shows. Here, it wasn't so much a matter of size, but material. and $$$.

What a waste of time and money why not just try to find something that will flatter her plus-size figure which honestly are not things she's wearing in these pictures LOL. You plus size gals need to stay away from wearing black it just makes you look bigger and also pastels same thing. Always emphasize the vertical you want the other person's eye to go up up up. This means emphasizing everything from the waist up jewelry hats hairdo and so forth. And please no Prince there's not a print anyone ever designed just going to flatter a plus-size girl actually no print flatters anyone of any for your type it just makes you look bigger like your 10 or 20 lb overweight. Quite a few of those outfits barely worked for the "celebrities" wearing them and definitely did not look good on her. I'm not fat-shaming her. The idea is to dress to flatter your figure, whatever that happens to be. Outfits designed for skinny women often don't have the cut and lines to flatter someone curvier. Frankly, these pictures illustrate that far better than how easy it is to look like a celebrity. They also demonstrate how a great coat can really make an outfit. ;)
