I'm convinced that this mindset comes from having no confidence in the bedroom department. It's basically, 'I want a woman who's not experienced, so she doesn't know how bad I am at it'. Personally I'd rather have someone with experience so that we can both increase our pleasure.

Europe isn't a country and I really think you'd be able to feed a toddler vegan here. But you need to do it right, which is hard. A lot of vegan kids end up undernourished.

The difference is us omnivores have no food restrictions that prevent us from eating vegetarian and vegan food. The opposite is not true. OP had allergies and in this case it's understandable why she wanted to bring food that was safe for her to eat, but she could have chosen something that was not an obvious animal product. Like if she'd put cheese in instead of eggs, no one would have known it was not vegan.

I think the bride overreacted, but I don't think she's an a*****e. She wanted her wedding to be a cruelty-free event and her own SIL disrespected her in such a blatant way, I understand why she blew her lid off.

She clearly knew the couple had planned a vegan menu and did what they could to plan an eco friendly wedding. You have to be daft not to realise you should bring a vegan-friendly meal.

The caterer was capable, but OP didn't trust her. That is OP's problem and not the groom and bride, who did what they could to accommodate her. It wouldn't have been hard to bring a meal that didn't contain animal products, or at least not in such a blatant way like putting the eggs on top of the salad.

I'm gonna have to go with YTA, OP knew how important veganism was to the bride and she knew it was the theme of the wedding. You have to be a complete idiot to think bringing food with obvious animal products in it would not be seen as disrespectful. It would have been incredibly easy to just not put eggs in her salad. I'm not vegan myself and I do agree the bride overreacted, but I think OP is in the wrong too.

It should be up to the person what they want to wear. For me, it's not about functionality or being sexy, but much simpler - I get a better tan with a bikini and that's why I prefer it. I don't like having huge patches of pale skin from a swim suit that covers more. It's the same for a lot of women. I really don't connect wearing bikini with being objectified, it depends on what style the bikini is.

Regardless of what his intentions were, his actions support a victim blaming mentality. You keep girls safe by teaching men not to harass and assault them, not by placing restrictions on girls. Women get assaulted wearing baggy clothes too, if someone wanted to harm you, it would make no difference what kind of swim suit you were wearing and covering up with a t-shirt does absolutely nothing to keep you safe.
