As someone who basically had to be feed when I got my wisdom teeth out since I couldn't feel my face and was high as a kite on anesthesia it is awkward as heck to be fed. I think it is at least like I said I was high as a kite I'm not 100% all of my memories happened in real life.

Feeding eachother in general while the fed person's hand are completely free is awkward as heck. Feeding should only be done while couchpotatoeing and one person is completely engulfed in blankets and pets when the other one reaches for the bag of dorito's.

Fun fact: in an early cut of Lilo and Stitch test audiences didn't like the scene where Lilo and Nani get into a fight and said things like "I didn't like the way the mom yelled at her". Everyone should learn CPR. Saving a life is wonderful. My mother (then 65) performed chest compressions on my step-dad when he collapsed (and "died") if not for her efforts he wouldn't be here today. His heart went into a rhythm called ventricular fibrillation and he needed to be shocked out of out, but her compressions kept him going until first responders arrived.
