Don't judge the book by its cover. Let’s be honest here - we can’t really judge a person just by their appearance. You've probably met someone whose appearance is a perfect 10. But when they open their mouth to say a word or reveal their questionable habit, that perfect illusion cracks.

This time, you’re the judge. We’ll give you 30 hypothetical situations of guys and girls who might seem flawless on the outside, but their quirks, habits, and opinions might make you rethink that perfect score.

So… are they really still a 10 if they wear the same pair of socks for a week? Let’s vote! 🗳️

Depends. Feels like it once a day, twice a day, once a week?

I think it depends on what they do. If they're sitting in an office all day and showering every two days or so, I might be able to live with it. If they have a physical job or go for a run in the evenings and don't shower every day then it would be very different.

I met a couple where the guy always felt like showering twice a day. Sometimes 3. Then there's the guys who shower once a week. I'm fine with a happy middle ground.

As long they wash their bottomparts and armpits daily when they didn't roll in the mud, they'll be okay with a shower twice a week. Our skin isn't made to shower daily, it breaks down the protective layer. With rigorous exercise or a job they get dirty, shower afterwards every time.

It depends. Does he change his clothes every day, use deodorant, body spray? Some people bathe or shower every day but only change their clothes once a week, and some people change their clothes daily but only bathe or shower a couple of times a week.

Depends on the technique used. I am proud of having a wide vocabulary and like doing things correctly, BUT there are ways to do it that are better-received than others. Correcting grammar in public is usually not appreciated as much as in private, for example.

I see your splitting the bill and raise you splitting a bill between six people. Some had drinks with dinner, some did not. Some had appetizers, some did not. Some had coffee, some did not. Everyone was in different financial situations at the time and had ordered according to their means. So I asked the server if they could give me some time and a pencil and I worked it out.

I hate tipping culture in the US but nobody is going to change it by not tipping - the restaurant owner is happy as long as you pay the actual bill. The best way to change things is to go to places that pay a fair wages.

Never tips on principle is the problem, because I also don't tip unless I get better than average service (in Europe, where the pay is not dependent on tips). If the person has done well, I reward them. I wouldn't withhold tips from someone who does a decent job AND they rely on tips.

    Jane Jayne Jain Jeign Jein

Do you tip your postie and your bus driver and the local road sweeper and your librarian and the supermarket cashier and the people who fix your roads and those who keep your sewers working? What if you earn minimum wage yourself, are you still supposed to tip someone else for just doing their job? If you need to be paid a bonus to be nice and polite to someone then you shouldn't be working in the service industry. Tipping culture came from the thieving-wealthy dispensing favours on their whim and it does not improve equality in our society to imitate the condescending behaviour of these parasites. Get off your high horse.

Serious red flag. Being proud of being male, being comfortable with yourself, trying to improve yourself so that you are more attractive to others, being self-confident. All of those things are fine. It's the toxic hyper-versions of those traits that those podcasts promote that is a problem - they persuade people to look at others as competition, or as 'lesser' and it's gross.

This isn't lying. Saying "I'm fine" is the best way to get someone to stop talking while rationalizing the situation in ol' noggin before saying something regretful. Give us space when we say "I'm fine" or give us a hug if you know for sure the issue isn't you. Sometimes we just need a good cry, too, despite nothing being directly wrong.
