142 Times People Found Stuff In Their Parents’ Houses That Was Too Weird For Them To Handle
Your parents house can be an absolute goldmine when it comes to odd and random trinkets. We all collect things over the years, a lot of it crap. But amongst it all there are some gems, weird objects that have an interesting background story and add to the rich tapestry of your family story.
With the holiday season upon us and family visits aplenty, we at Bored Panda have decided to compile a list of the strangest things that people have come across when catching up with the old folks.
It all kicked off on Twitter during thanksgiving when someone tweeted out a request for the oddest things found at their parents place. People responded with glee, sending in pictures by their thousands. Here is a selection of the best, don't forget to vote for your favourite and feel free to add your own!

This doll is from the mid-60's, I think. Her name is "Little Miss No-Name". Although, I'm not sure if this one is an original because it looks like she's missing the painted tear from her face.
Actually, I take that back because you can only really see one side of her face.

Jesus holy c**p!!!!! I am not a fainthearted person who creeps out from any dolls if the're missing a limb or n eye, but as for this one, call a priest and til he arrives - douse that thing in gallons of holy water and choke it with a rosary!!! And I am not even religious....
can you imagine being in the manufacturers factory??? Tons of these creepy things everywhere? Oh my god it would be horrible.

I don t fear dolls, and I think the eyes on this one are neat. But morning might find her covered with a (nice) pillowcase or shawl.
I would not want to sleep in one room with this thing. Creepy like hell.
It's a Little Miss No Name Doll! As a child I loved mine! No one I know has ever heard of or seen one. Thank you for proving that I am not crazy!

This doll is actually called little miss no name. I believe she is supposed to represent a poor or homeless child begging for something. Hence the outstretched hand with the palm up. She also has big dough eyes and a tear on her cheek

I had this doll as a child. Mine had a plastic tear on her face. I hated this doll; she made me so sad. Now, she is the symbol of "Hope" for We Care fundraiser in Kokomo, Indiana.
Yeah.....she would mysteriously disappear. What? A doll's missing? Oh my goodness!
Take it down, put it under the bed--or out in the rain. Don't mention it, unless she does. She can return it when you leave. This is daughter-in-law abuse.

that's a Margaret Keane doll. after the Tim Burton movie about her i bet it's worth some money!

Need something for scale... or they just look like regular anvils... which is still a weird collection to have... unless they're blacksmith descendants... or have some weird horse shoe fetishes....or have horses.... or make jewellery... or remove handcuffs.... On second thought, maybe not so weird

This is quite literally the creepiest thing I've ever seen. And half of them are hanging upside down.
I think the figures are the shrunken and mummified remains of people who took things from the drawer.
Totally have one of these in our living room...positioned to creep out whoever sits on the love seat. It works.
All of the items in this picture are VERY OLD including the doll. My three older sisters had dolls like this. They are in there 60s to 70s now. One of my sisters still has hers.
Most of the guys who wrote the U.S. Constitution would be very offended by the idea of using Jesus to heal the country, or any such thing.
We have that same phone on our wall! Also with a new phone line running to it! Seriously, who cares about the faceless penguin on top? This phone is where it's at!
That's FurReal Friends Cat Lulu from Hasbro. She purrs when she gets scritches, rolls on her side and grooms herself. Kids like it to have when they don't get a real cat. 😺

There was an alarming amount of these on this list that I would actually buy.
I'm probably never going to have kids, but I want one of everything here (except thant dang ventriloquist doll). I want to decorate my house with all of it & make my nephew visit me with his new sweetheart when he's old enough. Should be awesome.

Someone actually designed all those hideous ceramic planters and figurines, which is a horrifying thought. But all the White Jesuses seem to have been painted by one person ... someone with a thing for the young Brad Pitt.
My parents never had too much weird stuff, but my grandparents had a DW doll hanging from a doorway that my grandpa tried to make look like a burglar to teach his cat to attack burglars.
Lol my cat would just look at them once & then ignore them. Maybe he needs a training doll.
