Pedophiles should be killed. They can't be rehabilitated. In cases where there is substantiated proof- esp if they have acted on their disgusting twisted thoughts. Just kill them, incinerate their remains and be done w/them. Tax payers shouldn't have to pay for BS rehabilitation or their (PATHETICALLY inadequate) sentences.

Agree about 3 years being too little, but hey, where's the love for the robbers? They owned up to the wrong they did in order to fight a worse crime. No honor among theives my ass. Thanks for doing the right thing guys!

Meanwhile, in America, I am currently dealing with a pedophile running amok amongst our illness support community and we cannot have him arrested because he's both sick and hiding behind his parents' money. There's much evidence stacked against him but neither the FBI nor the local authorities in his area will do anything until he physically harms a child.

Jace

That's called due process. You have to be caught committing an illegal act. If he's creepy, that's unfortunate. If you're certain he's guilty of a crime, then present the evidence to the police.

This section seems to be really weird. Sometimes it looks like you've posted multiple times (but then later it only shows up once after appearing to you several times); you can reply to some people but not others, you can't edit or delete your own posts. We've all complained about it many times but have never gotten any response from BP. It's very frustrating.

He deserved to lose his life - in a very slow and painful way! I can at least hope that "Bubba" got a hold of him while in prison those 3 years and made him his "Precious" - so he could have a taste of what he has done to children.

He's mentally ill, and you want him to die a slow painful rapey death for it? There's no evidence that he did anything other than view the photos. If you're that worried about him abusing kids, then lock him up to make sure he never does it (which is also messed up) but to want to have someone die in a painful and slow way for viewing photos and having a mental illness is really messed up.

Well that's the only thing they COULD do. I mean what else should they have done? If they broke in and found a dead body they'd have reported that too. It's not like they should be celebrated for their good deed. You shouldn't get kudos for doing what you're supposed to do. I agree with their reduced sentence I suppose....It's an interesting story though.

Well they could have binned the laptop and no one would have known what they did. They risked doing time to protect children.

Someone who got voted down mentioned "China Girl". If you pay attention to the lyrics, you will understand that it's about the subjugation and annihilation of Asian cultures by Europeans. Similarly, if you listen to the lyris of "Fashion" carefully, you can see it's about political and social leanings. In particular, it's about how the higher status people copy the style and culture of lower status people despite decrying it as inferior. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/01/20/how-david-bowies-china-girl-used-racism-to-fight-racism/?utm_term=.17ae4ff2b7c7

The US national anthem's melody is based on an English song, BTW. (Another fun fact: the melody of "My Country Tis of Thee" is the same as "God Save the Queen" which is taken from a Prussian song, "Heil dir im Siegerkranz", 'coincidentally' the British monarchy is an extension of various German monarchies. So WWI was nothing more than a family feud, using millions of people as pawns.)

The divers were using an underwater communication system and the captive male beluga imitated their order to get out of the water and the diver surfaced thinking it was real. He had learned to imitate the patterns and frequency's of human speech, after several years he stopped doing it. Belugas rock :) they also shout like children in the wild, and the bump on their head is used for echolocation and scientifically called its "Melon"

This is a good one. And nowadays, for people who can only wear a shoe on one foot, there are groups/stores who sell single shoes, while only able to wear for example the left shoe. They let others buy the right shoe and vice versa. At least I know this is a (small though) thing in my country.
