If you read the smaller print it says that the reason it is never obsolete is because you can upgrade to the fastest model on the market every two years for $99. So, kinda makes sense really

LOL. The 72 core server I got less than 6 months ago is already obsolete in the eyes of technology.

Technically you can still use it and obsolete is a sales term...if you can do with it what you need done its not obsolete...it may not receive updates or be sold...yet if it works it works. when it stops doing what you need its obsolete.
