Elvis was kind of a weird dude, his personal life was so weird and fascinating, from Nick Adam's to slumber party with teenage girls to beginning a relationship with a child when he was a grown ass adult. And his legacy is hardly tarnished when people think of Elvis it's rarely negative. His music is almost revered which is just insane because his lesser known psyche oddities. Like how Michael Jackson fans get overly defensive and combative if you tell them that you just can really listen to a pedophile even if the song was a bop.

“So I was going through some old photos and I found this. My Dad holding Magic Johnson and looking incredibly badass while doing it. A little backstory. My Dad was good friends with Jerry Buss’ niece, and was invited to a Laker’s picnic. He played volleyball all his life and Magic, along with a few others, wanted to test his skills. He played Magic and as he was going up for a spike, my Dad slammed it back into his face to win the game. Magic came up to him after, grabbed him and said, “Next time, you’re on my team.” They both had a good laugh and my Dad swooped him up into his arms.”

Somewhere, the SO and I have a photo of Mr. T holding our son. My cousin (an actor) was dating a woman who worked PR for a movie studio and was responsible for one of those celebrity "sporting" events. This one involved various celebs (T, my cousin, Chris Atkins, and others) riding dirt bikes and driving those little dirt racing cars around a track ina stadium. Got to go behind the scenes into the celebrity lounge. Cousin's gf took our son and handed him to Mr. T so we could get a pic. Son was wearing only a diaper and wet himself while T was holding him.

“This is a photo of me when I met Pat Morita roughly half a year before he passed away. He was getting honored at an Asian award show that I was volunteering at, and when he walked by he pointed at me and said ‘I want that hair!’
He was being followed by a bunch of other photographers and one of them said to take a picture with the guy with the crazy hair. He immediately went up to the wall and put his hands upon it, so I pretty much said to myself “ok, I guess I’m frisking Pat Morita”.
I was quick enough to give my camera to a friend of mine and she took the photo that you see here. My moment with Pat was super brief but I’ll never forget it!”

I belonged to a running club back in the 80s, of which a small group would enter and travel to do the Honolulu marathon every year. One woman ran with a tall curly haired man for a while, chatting with him until a water station came up and he continued on. The other clubmates said "Was that Tom Selleck you were running with?!" She said "Tom who?" They figured she had to be the only woman in North America who didn't know who he was and gave her a tee shirt with "Tom who?" printed on the front at the year-end club banquet.
