308 Pics From ‘Project Van Life’ Instagram That Will Make You Wanna Quit Your Job And Travel The World
By committing to the van movement, people are making major life decisions. Quitting jobs. Cancelling leases. Emptying their parents' bank accounts. Everything in exchange for a nomadic #VanLife on four wheels. Documenting the pretty side of their daily adventures, Instagram account @project.vanlife is sharing their stories through dreamy photos.
Of course, like every life path, this one has it's ups and downs as well. What about that endless WIFI? Or that dishwasher? Putting your wanderlust in charge of your life has its toll. If you are willing, however, to endure a surprise breakdown of your mobile home hundreds of miles away from civilization in the pouring rain, maybe showering in a Starbucks bathroom isn't that bad either? Scroll down to meet #VanLife and upvote its most precious moments.

Welcome to Jellystone Park! The price of admission is one pic-a-nic basket. Lol
I like the composition of this image; the colors, the shadows. Excellent photography.
If you look closely you see that the wood is not on the fire, it is being built as a small reflective screen that also dries it. This is a common practice, especially in cold climates.
So you are telling me they go travelling in that and all the furniture is loose? Nah!!!
No Baltic countries, no Belarus and Ukraine, no United Germany and no disunited Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia
How do you know? It's probably obvious but I can't tell how you can.

Oh Muh Gawsh, next best thing :~D If ya can't make it, FAKE IT! And verrrry stealthy lol
These are great photos, and I'm sure they had great experiences...but, to be honest, the only thing that would "inspire me to quit my job and hit the road" would be winning the lottery
It's quite cheap... we live in an rv and it's MUCH cheaper than a house or apartment. I'm still a minor so I live with my mom. she's retired so we are using the retirement fund and money from selling our house. I know alot of people that live on the road and they do all kinds of jobs. Such as, over the phone nurse, writer, blogger, artist, editor, anything in web design, furniture sales, military. It all depends on the person but there are ways! Even if just siting in one place working for 6 months then traveling for 6, but it's much much cheaper than one might think.

Nothing about this makes me want to quit my job, sell my house, and take that show on the road. Really cool pics but it's just not for everyone.
'You won't think its cool when you're living in a van down by the river!' Matt Foley, motivational speaker (An SNL skit starring Chris Farley as a motivational speaker who lives in a can down by the river). Personally, I am a creative type and an outdoors person and I've love to get a van and make it into a camper....to camp out at the beach or while fishing on weekends sometimes or maybe sleep in overnight while on trips occasionally ....but probably not for much more than that...I mean....I could....no problem...I just wouldn't want to....
Very romantic (apart from the gazoline guzzeling VW vans)...I can't tear myself away from the feeling that many of these photo's seem terribly staged and primarily tailored to an instagram audience.... which would be the opposite of what this should be about.
Honest question: What's with the VW van love? In high school I knew a few who were obsessed with those god awful vans. Performance machines they are not (and by performance I mean having a proper heater, being quiet inside while driving, being able to climb a hill etc.). Why do people so heavily romanticize something that's objectively, by every measure besides kitschiness, such a giant piece of s**t?
No. No thanks. You'd have to be off your nut....or independently wealthy.
Ahhh, yes. Aunt Messy. Always so enlightening. Like a breath of sweet, summer air......not.
