I was in a play with a goat. He was an unweaned goat, and his mother was kept offstage. The reasoning was that he would always be pulling in the same direction -- towards his mother -- and so would be predictable. He was good at breaking loose, but the actors I was working with were so good at staying in character while chasing him that it seemed like it was all part of the show. Man, I miss that troupe.
Also don't work with wombats. An Aussie show (County Practice) had one called Fatso and it was a menace. Constantly attacked people.
I wrangled Juniper, the black and white feral goat who was so wonderfully evil in "Black Spot", the NZ movie. Once he'd been walked through a move, he was able to repeat it for the camera. At one point, I had to keep his head still so that the camera could shoot between his most impressive horns. I did this by lying under his head and poking tiny pieces of Granny Smith apple into his head. You realise how glamorous the movie world is when you are lying in the middle of a country road, at midnight, with your face being gently drenched with apple juice and goat saliva.
Tried to watch this and failed. Think it might be best with the sound off and subtitles on. Couldn't hear the voices and the sound effects were way too loud
Alternatively, if the director you're working with is being a jerk, add a scene with a goat.
Goats are tricky, especially the adult males. They can all be super friendly and sweet but wow, when the switch flips they’re really something else!

I did read ages ago that Snakes On A Plane was going to be called something else and Samuel L Jackson said the film has to be called Snakes On A Plane otherwise he won't do it. Because it's about m***********g snakes on a m***********g plane.
