That's something a lot of people don't understand about cancer, is that it can last for YEARS. There are some forms that will carry a person off in a matter of months, but others that can be fought for years as Boseman had to. I've even heard of people battling with hemotological cancers for 15-20 years. And a person with these cancers has to go on with their life the whole time, raising children and earning a living, maybe even having the kind of success he did, while dealing with cancer the whole time. We just never know what other people are going through.

You forgot to mention she is a professional video editor, which makes a huge difference as a lot of experience and software knowledge is required for this job. From text it sounds like she never edited any film before

Some people tend to dismiss learning new and interesting facts as a waste of time because today you can find any information you need with just a few Google searches. However, when a person is asked a trivia question that they know the answer to, they suddenly perk up and feel engaged.

One of the reasons behind this is simply that answering a trivia question provides us with a thrill. “You get a rush or a neuroreward signal or a dopamine burst from winning,” John Kounios, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Drexel University in Pennsylvania, told Healthline

“I think whenever you’re challenged with a trivia question and you happen to know it, you get a rush. It’s sort of like gambling.”

For anyone who’s wondering if you have to be smart on many different levels to be good at answering quiz questions, Kounios said that people aren’t necessarily better at trivia games just because they’re more educated. “Some people soak up facts,” he continued. “Plenty of people with a lot more education may not remember what they had for breakfast yesterday morning.”

“In typical people, my observation, not backed up by any research, is that their interest in trivia is confined to topics that they are generally interested in,” the professor added. “So if a person is very interested in history, then they may either seek out history trivia, or they might just naturally pick it up in the course of learning about nontrivial aspects of history.”

Well, Goetz wasn't charged with war crimes as such, but the Nazi's learned that he stole goods from murdered Jewish people. That wasn't a problem for the nazi's, but the fact that he didn't give the goods to the Reich but kept them in his own posession was a problem. He was charged with theft from the Reich. This was at the end of the war though, and the allied forces took over control shortly after his imprisonment. He was sentenced to death for murdering tens of thousands of people after the war.

That's the weird thing about Hollywood. Sometimes the payday for doing great work comes with your next job, not the one where you really excel.

I've always wondered about the police persona, sometimes I think it can't be helped because they deal with the worst side of humanity on a daily basis so it's no wonder their first instinct is to think the worst when meeting someone for the first time. As a 'normal' person ie someone just trying to earn enough to live and survive, I don't think we come into contact with the same types, therefore we tend to think (mostly, depending on experience of course) the best of people and don't understand when police don't act the same, maybe, just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I'm not naive. I've met plenty of a*sh*les, police and general people and am getting on in years. I just think at lot of it is caused by the job.

The scene was filmed after 'Avengers Assemble' had been released in the UK and therefore was never in the original UK cinema release. Chris Evans had to hide his face in this scene as he'd grown a beard for a different role (Snowpiercer, I believe).

George Lucas has talents as a film-maker, but one of them is not writing dialogue. As Harrison Ford once observed “George, you can type this sh!t, but you sure can’t say it.”

Tom Hardy was amazing as Bane, even the voice. Do you know how hard it is to act behind a mask and still exude emotion to create fear and panic? He was fantastic.

This is also a reason why there are many police series on TV, and to an extent medical series: Police officers are an "everyman"-figure/literary device, for the viewer to see through their eyes, and they can enter ANY house and ask ANY (relevant) question, which allows more freedom for writers to discuss any subject.

Personally, I think that Robbie Coltrane owned that role. I have very high praise for the late Robin Williams, but I don't think the role would've been right for him.
