This shouldn’t be on this list, let alone at number 1. This is excellent - plus it’s just furniture, not like the person did something that would be terribly expensive to remodel if they were trying to sell there home.
a lot of the times with stuff like "the worst (blank)" the actually good ones are always at the top because they're amazing and deserve the upvotes, and everyone in the comments always says how it shouldn't be there (aka needs to be seen bc it's good)

This is actually really cool. This is a game room, and again, regular deco rules don't apply. Would you post a home theater room and be like, "There's movie posters all over the wall!" This is well done.

If this was a child's room, it's really cute! Even if it was an adults room, its still cool! If my child was into gaming this much, I would do the dresser, but I'm not a huge fan of TVs in rooms. Except the master bedroom.
I wonder what the 10-year-old who lives here will turn out to be like when he's 20, or let's say 30.

Ok I gave up 1/3rd the way through. Yeah some are hazardous like the rocks on the stairs but most are creative/nonconformist. Gad can't we do our own thing that makes us comfortable without be attacked? God forbid we all live in the suburbs in those cookie cutter box houses.
A conformist gray piece without any decoration is way worst than that in my opinion, but I understand people liking this kind of thing.

And as Bluetoyou wrote, non conformism will get you that. I think it says more about the people shaming others for that then the people being shamed. Let's all agree to disagree.
