30 Times People Spotted Cursed Gaming Setups And Shared Them On This Group
For any avid gamer, a gaming setup is somewhat of a sacred place. It doesn’t matter if it’s super lavish or low-key and simple, it’s where you spend your time tuning into another world, embarking on adventures, meeting friends, and streaming. That’s your ultimate comfort zone.
But it turns out that gaming setups, just like everything else in this world, are not immune to having a threatening aura. According to Urban Dictionary, the term “threatening aura” refers to that of “a place, person or object that makes you feel like you're in danger just by looking at it, sometimes characterized by unsanitary condition.” Another online dictionary offers this definition: “The juxtaposition of morbid and farcical elements (in writing or drama) to give a disturbing effect.”
Now put it in the context of gaming: think of the battle station where all the action takes place, and imagine it having a threatening aura. If that’s too big of a job for you, let me present you this entertaining Facebook group “Gaming Setups With Threatening Auras” which will do the job for us.
Home to 145.5K members, the group is dedicated to sharing pictures of the most hilariously threatening gaming setups that will make you look twice and thrice, and then stare some more.

This is not cursed or threatening!!! THIS IS FREAKIN' ADORABLE! Do you SEE the little Haku at the bottom???
I hope it’s well-cooled :( it’s cute, but it could overhear the computer…
AHHHHH THIS IS SO CUTE! Must be a pain for the fans tho. I bet leaves are always getting stuck in them.
This looks like it would increase the risk of overheating and being a fire hazard to me.
This reminds me of the IT post where somebody brought in their computer because they had set a candle on top of it. It wasn't lit, just there for decoration, but computers get hot and the candle melted into the case and all over the components. This setup, if it is an operational computer and not just parts repurposed for decoration, may prevent the graphics card from cooling properly, shortening its life, and will likely end in a lot of melted plastic. It is really cute, though. This person should build little terrariums instead of computers. ^_^
The cutest way to brick your computer! 10/10 adorbs, 10/10 would not recommend
🤣 Did you hear that snapping noise? That was a million mens' a******s snapping shut.
I hate to break this to you girly pop queen boss, but bathing is important
First rule of dance dance club: do not tell anyone about dance dance club
College vibes XD my boyfriend and his roomies had their TV and consoles on a plywood board stretched over cinderblocks in college.
well those are line 6 spider series amps...so its only fitting that the wiring looks like a damn red house spider's web!
This is unfortunately a lot more common than you'd think. I have a friend who lives with her hoarding, lazy parents. She's been trying to clean up the house for her sake but is overwhelmed. She's been making some improvements but is struggling to get it all done and is the only one in the household trying to clean. I'm not sure how she stays sane and motivated to do anything.

Glimpsing into gaming culture always makes me think human civilization probably deserves to be destroyed at this point.
Most people are capable of gaming and still being a normal human. Gaming is just as legitimate a hobby as any other, if done in moderation as any hobby should be. Plus, it affords people the opportunity to make friends across the entire globe. It’s amazing. Saying that civilization “deserves to be destroyed” because of a few extreme examples of overindulgence is very shallow, spurious thinking.
