Be honest, when was the last time you read the label on your favorite t-shirt or the most comfortable pair of jeans? Probably a while ago, right? And why bother with the clothing tags at all if there's never any funny slogans or amusing wisdom written on them but the bleak washing instructions, right?
Well, not really - these clothing labels will convince you to look again - they aren’t your usual “do not mix with colors” or “do not boil me in water over 60 degrees, thanks very much” kind of thing. Some offer serious life advice (seriously, we aren’t joking!), others are lost in translation, some are adorned with funny puns and yet others are offensive… or maybe hilarious. That’s up to your sense of humor.
If you’ve ever come across any similar funny phrases on labels, submit them to our list. If not, then let us know which one of these funny photos from our collection of clothing labels do you like the most!

I have a Red Bubble shirt, it's a valid point. You should never slap pandas!
This is not quite so funny, it's intended for stupid people who could think of opening a lawsuit to the producer of the garment/ zipper because they hurt their...
Or wear it again. It's got another day or so left before it becomes an issue to co-workers.
I once bought some polarfleece fabric for robes with a pokarbear pattern, and was acvosted by a child who demanded "were any polar bears hurt in the manufacture of this cloth?!"
I can tell that TAG’s 40% glue, I don’t know about the clothing though...
Last line "We are sorry that our president is an idiot. We didn"t vote for him"
It's sad that in today's world we can't laugh at something when it's funny if it had at some point in history hurt someone's feelings. No one actually expects that you will hand this shirt to your girlfriend/wife and make her do it because she is below you. It's meant to be funny because we are supposed to be better than that as a culture. The fact that people are offended says we are not.
At least some people understand that the joke is ON the douchebags and not BY the douchbags. Even if it isn't, we can take it that way and rub it in their face :P
Load More Replies...There is one Serbian brand ''Rope Sucks'' and on the part where is Iron drawn next to it says Maiden!!! Get it, Iron Maiden..... hahahahaahah
One of the funniest parts was that some felt they had to underline the 'funny' parts or circle them.... as if we were so stupid, we couldn't figure that our for ourselves. Similar to a laugh-track on a comedy show! Why?
I think they underlined them so we didn't have to read all the other lines.
Load More Replies...A lot of people I know don't read clothing lables. I make it a point of reading them for fibre content as I have a sensitive skin. Bravo to the manufacturers for injecting a little humour into their lables.
What about "We're sorry our president is an idiot; we did not vote for him": n April 2004, image: http://www.snopes.co...ics/tombihn.jpgTom Bihn label someone called attention to the fact something was a little odd about the care instruction tags found on backpacks and laptop cases produced by manufacturer TOM BIHN of Port Angeles, Washington. Specifically, what was unusual was that the English and French statements on those tags didn't quite match: while both versions included the usual admonitions not to use bleach, not to machine dry, and not to iron the bags, the French-language version included an extra phrase: "NOUS SOMMES DESOLES QUE NOTRE PRESIDENT SOIT UN IDIOT. NOUS N'AVONS PAS VOTE POUR LUI." Roughly translated, this statement reads in English as: "We're sorry our president is an idiot. We didn't vote for him." When my ex would say, "make me a sandwich" I would reply, "POOF! You're a sandwich"
