At my age, my mum had two teenagers. I don't even have a boyfriend. And I'm keeping it that way.
What is interesting about this page is that it contains memes not just for laughing out loud at pictures. Most of these memes are text, are non-standard and interesting quotes from X, which really make you think twice. And some are even very wholesome in everyday life.
For example, the very idea of gamifying your daily chores looks absolutely brilliant to me! No, seriously - I'll finish this post and go wipe the floors to get more XP... And why not, after all?

You may ask - so what's wrong with that, are these not original memes? On the other hand, almost any meme author actually uses a template: a screenshot from a movie or TV series, some famous quote and whatnot. By and large, a meme is the ability to look at something already known under a different angle, to find something funny in it - and to expose it to others. And this is, well, this can be a true art.

"For example, Napoleon Bonaparte - many of his biographers wrote about this. And this significantly influenced his popularity over the years," Valery ponders. "Therefore, in the modern world, literally anything can be considered a meme."

I asked my husband to take a photo of me at the Grand Canyon for my FB profile and it was awful. A stranger asked us to take a photo of herself and her husband and they were so cute.

Done that all messed UP: found a job at 17, got back to school at 23 and 37, about to get married at 44. Messed up, harder, but the getting married point is the best!

If you're broke at some point, but then have money at others, you're just poor. Actual rich people don't have the broke part ever. I mean, I'm living paycheck to paycheck too so no shade from me. Just sayin'

My youngest scares the c**p out of me. We paid 28k for our house in 1987. She and SIL paid 200k for their house 5-6 years ago. I can't even conceive. As a boomer, I am SO ashamed it has gotten here. Though...it was recently assessed (land tax) at over 300k.

… A lot of people who wrote these need to seriously and thoroughly reassess their ideas about what a relationship should reasonably be and then stop their toxic bullcrαp. Maybe stay single for a couple of years while they mature, and then start again after sorting out their delusions.
