As a cake decorator I can tell you that the people taking orders are very unclear sometimes. I recently had one where the order taker wrote 2012-2014 for a going out of business cake. I asked if it should be 2016 since they were closing in 2016 and was told to just put what was on the piece of paper. Of course, it was wrong & I got crabbed at. I told the boss her 2nd in charge was responsible since she took the order and would not listen to what I was trying to tell her.
