Bored Panda got in touch with bird expert Drin and she was kind enough to share some of her thoughts and experiences with our little avian friends. Naturally, we wanted to hear why she decided to call herself a “bird-nerd.”
“Bird nerdiness must have a genetic component because I come from a long line of bird admirers. I spent a lot of time at my grandparents' houses growing up and I can still hear my Grandpa's voice excitedly calling out the name of every bird species that landed on the feeders that were hanging right outside the kitchen window. So close we could almost touch them.”

Is there something in the cupboard you reach for that she likes, or do you have a glass top coffee table? Do you brush her daily and miss the spots under her front legs? Is there a favorite toy or something that's too heavy for her to pick up and carry around? Is there any strange noise coming from the ceiling? Does she have an enclosed litterbox that needs to be bigger or has gotten something stuck on the inside of it? Half the time my cat keeps exhibiting different behaviors or "talks" to me I don't understand, but when I finally figure it out I feel particulatly slow! 🤣
