Cats are excellent judges of character. My ex started showing his true colors (abusive), and my cat peed on his pillow. He raised a hand to MY cat...guess who got kicked to the curb? I had my cat for another 16 years. Guess who I hope never crawled out of the gutter. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
As kids, we could laugh at almost anything. A neighbor walks by, and here come some giggles or mom is preparing a meal and all you can say is, "Hehehe." But as we grew up, life started getting more serious, and we ended up smiling less often.
So now we need to seek out more opportunities to add humor to our lives. Whether you are enjoying your favorite sitcom or scrolling through memes, it’s important that we don’t forget that laughter can be the best medicine.

This means that laughing more reduces the chances of a heart attack. A 2018 study indicated that laughter therapy helps delay cardiovascular complications in type 2 diabetes patients.

I love that, what a beautiful saying! In German, we have a proverb going, "That to me the dog is dearest, you, oh human, call sin? The dog stayed with me in the storm, the human not even in the wind."
Looking at the funny side of things might help us shift our perspective in different situations. For instance, you can diffuse a silly conflict with your bestie by sharing a good laugh. When you see things in a less threatening light, it helps you come up with more realistic solutions.

I had a Labrador when I was a kid, and in the 8 or so years we had him he did ONE naughty thing - stole a sausage off the bbq. The temptation was too much, although he was a perfect angel usually. He looked so worried afterwards, of course he didn't get in trouble.

Just to unpack this...cat on the counter is judging distance, non-white cat is calling the other cats, the other white cat is taking the selfie, licking it's lips and drooling, and pizza lady hasn't told them yet she ain't sharing.

Ohhhh, that happened to me once on a big intersection. I KNEW that spot and specifically waited until there was enough space on the other side of the intersection before I started going. And then a truck switches lanes and pulls in in front of me, making me sit right in the intersection, and everyone was cussing at me for blocking their path…

People have no idea cats can actually attack their owners so viciously. Mine was attacked by a male cat, I tried to pick her up and she attacked my forearm with such violence. I only survived bc I wore a hoodie in the summer. I always thought kitties avoid attacking people.
