Listen, I'm all about what ever happy, safe family dynamic works for everyone, BUT Jesus DID NOT TURN OUT OK!!! He was put to death by the state at 33. He turned away from a partner who loved him. He was unemployed. He hung out with and trusted really questionable drifters, one of whom betrayed him for a reward. If my kid turned out like Jesus, I would consider myself a complete failure as a parent. (And, also, I'm atheist, so please save your threats of damnation for someone who gives a f**k,thanks.)
That's an interesting way of saying "put to death for speaking against tyrannical rulers, lived a minimalistic lifestyle, invested in outcasts and criminals and helped them change their lives, and then was horribly betrayed by someone he trusted." Also, I'm not sure what partner you are talking about. Maybe you don't realize Jesus challenged the religious people of his day and befriended the downtrodden and the outcasts. He dedicated his life to preaching about the love of God and loving people that same way. He also knew he was going to die painfully and faced and accepted this fate. Jesus was an awesome dude. It sounds like you don't really know who he is. I also don't believe you will be damned. I just don't want you to talk bad about someone I look up to and care about. Jesus would have loved and accepted you as you are right now. And I think that's a great thing.
