I’m sorry, but what the hell? Has BoredPanda just become a place for hate? JK Rowling said that trans women will never be women, that she would rather spend time in jail than use someone’s preferred pronouns, she actively supports anti-gay and anti-trans activists who called for a a “reduction” of trans people, she threatens people who disagree with her with legal action, she’s implied that all trans women are sexual predators. She claims that the whole thing is to protect “real” women from sexual assault and misogyny, yet she wrote a book in which a trans character was threatened with rape for being trans. She did not simply say that women should be called women and that menstruating people is a bad term, she has been actively hateful and transphobic while staying behind the facade of “supporting trans people”. (Also, are we forgetting the fact that the HP books are pretty anti-Semitic and even racist at times??)

Trans are probably 1% of the population or less. It is sad that so many people lack basic empathy - of course it is hard for a cis person to understand a trans persons experience but don't assume their experience isn't real.
