You can totally use lube inside and outside condoms as long it is purely water based (ie: no added silicone). Water based lube does nothing to latex or latex alternatives and will decrease chance of breakage due to making sure everything is smooth sailing. I'm a woman, and 100% NOT joking.

Lube is safe for latex. Fat isn't. Even hand cream can damage the condom. Use water or silicon based lube and everything will be fine.

You're both right, first of all there's not just one male birth control pill that they've been working on there's multiple and two of them are still in the works. There definitely was a birth control study that was ended because of side effects that are nothing compared to what many women deal with with female birth control. A minor snip that's a helluva lot safer than a pregnancy is. There's a doctor that literally gave himself – himself – a vasectomy, on a video done by The Daily Show. And do you know how many women DIE every DAY from pregnancy? Over 800! How many guys die from a vasectomy, hmm? Ever? Before you answer that question, look up the fact that vasectomy is actually associated with a *reduction* in mortality from all causes. ALL causes. That's the *opposite* of what *either* pregnancy *or* contraception does for women, BTW. Quit. Whining. Men have it magnitudes better than women, in this as well as so many other things.

Oddly enough, speaking of medical care, vasectomy is actually associated with a *reduction* in mortality, from ANY and ALL causes. And yeah, that's from actual scientific studies... multiple studies. No need for edu sites when you have studies from journals like the NE Journal of Medicine. 😄

And I think you need to actually look up the information on how vasectomy reduces mortality in men from all causes. They'd actually be healthier, LOL! If kids are so important (as if this planet needs any more people piled on top of each other), freeze some of their little buddies before the fella gets the minor little outpatient procedure! 😄

I think that you're right to a certain degree. When I was coming up being crude it rude was frowned upon. There was a certain tone and language you wouldn't use around children, women, it older people. Now days being respectful or minding your manners around any class of people is long gone. However, there were plenty of societal problems glossed over under the cover of respectability. I think the internet played a big party in eroding people's filters. What started as people hiding behind their computers had grown to people letting whatever ugliness on their minds slip out without a filter. I think we also make it hard on ourselves too. She I want respect, but I also want to be treated like a lady. Somehow we have gotten to this place where ladies should be offended if men treat them so. I'm not that old but my family were big on manners. I remember how honored I felt when all the men would stand when I came to the table.

Eww, no. You don't need to earn respect, nor does anyone else. We're all humans, made up of the same weird s**t like DNA and emotion. We ALL deserve respect, until we show someone otherwise. In which case, your last sentence would apply. And earning a Ph.D is obviously greatly beneficial to the person who earned it and the society they belong to. However, not everyone is graced with the opportunity to earn a Ph.D. I'd argue that most people would never get that chance, or don't see the risk necessarily being worth the reward. Student loans only cover so much of the cost of school. Especially grad school. And need based grants, even less so. Sure, there are the rare and extremely difficult scholarships one can hope to win, but they are much more rare than one tends to think. Not to mention, the hundred other reasons someone from the lower economic standings in our country could have that make it impossible to spend 12 years on incrementally more expensive education.
