Man... 'best' is a tough call. Off the top of my head I'd say 'The Unforgiven' by Metallica. Not my favourite song as such, but it's a powerful song and the lyrics resonate. If you're a singer it's also an enjoyable song to sing.

I may be bias, also. After my dad passed away, one of his friends used this song as backing for a video about my dad. It took me a long time to be able to listen to this song without crying because of the association, but I'd loved the song prior so I had to come back to it.

Get over yourself. My late father, a Jewish kid from London, fought in the dämn war. He was at the liberation of Bergen. He had to fight against teenagers and old men, forced to fight or be executed. And yet,He reenlisted and served as part of the British occupation force in Berlin. He stood in the ashes of that city and found forgiveness, despite everything that he experienced. He saw the people left behind , to live with the horrors of what was commited in their name. But He felt that justice was done. Regardless, If he saw that man then he would've comforted him, as a human being, what ever uniform he was wearing. (Well, not the ss obviously). And yeah, maybe don't tell people to "educate themselves", make's you sound like a real cünt.

Sad postscript to this story. The first six of the pack of ten that attacked her prior to her drowning, have been shöt by wildlife officers. The remaining four will also be removed. It has been proven that she received multiple bites prior to entering the water, so they will be held responsible. Sad for the girls family but also sad to lose ten members of an already critically endangered sub species of dingo.

As an Australian, and someone who worked at a fauna park with dingoes, people need to stop viewing them as puppy dogs. In a pack they're just like wolves. Unfortunately, I believe they didn't let her come ashore and she became exhausted and dröwned. It is a wild place, and tourists need to view it as that.

The caption makes no sense. Magnesium powder burns very quickly. It's the original flash photography. I looked at the OP and found 'but after your question i looked to other sources and found this source claiming he in fact burned calcium carbonate. ' - that also makes no sense, because calcium carbonate is the main constituent of limestone and doesn't burn. However, calcium carbide (not carbonate) plus water generates acetylene, often used for bright lights back in the day - perhaps that's what he used. Also: 'Nadar actually used mannequins to “pose” as works down in the catacombs, rather than real people, due to how the long the process would take to photograph the location- people simply wouldn’t have been able to stand still for long enough. '
