People severely underestimate teens and their behaviors. Sure, some are intentional troublemakers just to be troublemakers, but so are a lot of adults. Mostly, they're extremely kind-hearted, generous, and far more self- and socially aware than we think.

This is exactly how my thirteen year old is. ADORES little kids and such a kind hearted kid. Man, all of my kids would likely do this honestly. They make me more and more proud to be their momma every single day 😍 usually I don’t share their faces, but check the comment below. I’ll share some pics of all three of them (very rare occurrence) on Christmas Day and at one of my oldests’ last football games! (I’m in those 😬🤦🏼♀️ I’ve talked to most of you regulars on here enough to feel comfortable sharing 3/4 of the handsome men in my life 😍🤪

I remember the stranger that got me unstuck from an asphalt crack when I was a kid riding my bike. My grandpa was out with me and my sis, she went far and he followed to stop her but I got stuck and couldn't call him over. A stranger just lifted little me with the bike over the crack and let me go my merry way. I didn't even say thanks (I was 5? No manners in me)

Platform of choice also differs depending on generation: while Gen Z visits TikTok as their go-to for uplifting content (42%), the 55+ age bracket is more likely to head to Facebook (70%).

I worked in a facility once. One side was a physical rehab facility and the other was assisted living. There was a couple there, but they were in different sides. Their kids visited every day and would take their dad from the assisted living side to visit his wife on the other side. He had fairly advanced dementia and he once said, "I really like that girl and I'm going to marry her someday."

Anyone can give something a certain name, and then it "is called" that word. Which is precisely what happened here: someone wrote the word on Wikipedia as a joke less than years ago, and people thought it was real. So it's really no different than me saying "I would find it cute if baby rabbits were called fluffleywuffelies".

Edited to add: Just for the record, I’m not saying these were bad people… but there are a lot out there that definitely aren’t the greatest. And the celebrity part I say because many stars have dealt with some mega stalkers. I think they may occasionally be more prone to being targeted than a lot of us regular folk. EMTs/ambulance paramedics are the most amazing and wonderful people you could ever hope to meet. I have unfortunately needed several trips to hospital this year, and every one of the ambos had a heart of gold! Not to mention the amazing nurses, who do all the hard work once you get there.

It's true. My grandparents lived about halfway between our house and the school. My siblings and I would "invade" her house on our way home, eat all her snacks, sprawl all over her furniture, and watch her tv. She loved every minute of it. When I was having a rough time during my drinking, my relationship with my parents was severely strained, but my grandma's door was always open. She lived just long enough to see me get sober (I had about 2 years when she passed). Today (literally, today, the 27th), I have 13 years and I remember how happy she was to come to those 2 anniversary meetings and see me get my chips.

Awww I don’t remember this. I was also in Katrina. We almost stayed home. We lived in a trailer a 5 minute or less drive from the gulf. My mom decided last minute we had to leave. :( we brought our cat and our dog, but cat ran off during a bathroom stop. I still wonder if she ever made it through. 🥺
