The VCR wouldn't have been there... but I did watch Neil Armstrong walk on the moon on a tv like that while I was at school!

When the wheeled TV came out, it was going to be a good day. Some teachers didn't know how to use these right. They would always block it.

The teachers flipping the freaking "acetate" to put it straight in the projection... 2 flips minimum was required most of the time. When a teacher does it on the first try, he/she was THE s**t !

Our first TV had a 12" round screen.

Now, who out there remembers filmstrips! They came with a little floppy record that had a little narration on it, punctuated by little "bink" noises every time it was time to advance to the next frame. This was back in second grade, so it was around 1969 or 1970.

I remember when the VCR didn't exist and we had that noisy projector that always stopped and burned holes in the film. Damn, I got old fast!

When I saw this, it had a VTR under it, not a VCR!! Yup, I'm old!

Then trying to figure out WTF the teacher wrote on the overhead being wrote in chickenscratch:/

TV set meant nap time not unless it was in October then you got to watch the World Series and you you really didn't give a s**t who was playing you just knew that there was no test coming around or your teacher was a baseball nut or he or she forgot about the test they were supposed to plan😜😜

Guilty I still think when TECHNOLOGY changes things they should keep the old stuff just in case the new stuff isn't as great as they thought it to be.At least until it breaks down ,then toss it.What does an old person do with 100 Great movies on VHS?

Not only was I a kid when teachers used these, I used these plenty once I became a teacher.

I'm older than that.... The TV didn't come along until high school. Before that it was a film projector. :P

The projector was rarely used when I was in school but I definitely remember the TV.

I currently use a projector to do my art work.....a local school teacher gave it to me because they don't use them anymore!

Imagine ducking trying to do homework checkup (teachers assistant job) with kids trying to learn programming in the university when the classroom didn't have anything more complicated than that effin projector. Had to tell them to bring printed out notes and be ready to attack some projector foils. Also told them to complain about the classroom because we did have a laptop & projector option in our regular building if you booked it in advance.

Loved it when those came our!
