142 Times People Found Stuff In Their Parents’ Houses That Was Too Weird For Them To Handle
793Kviews
Your parents house can be an absolute goldmine when it comes to odd and random trinkets. We all collect things over the years, a lot of it crap. But amongst it all there are some gems, weird objects that have an interesting background story and add to the rich tapestry of your family story.
With the holiday season upon us and family visits aplenty, we at Bored Panda have decided to compile a list of the strangest things that people have come across when catching up with the old folks.
It all kicked off on Twitter during thanksgiving when someone tweeted out a request for the oddest things found at their parents place. People responded with glee, sending in pictures by their thousands. Here is a selection of the best, don't forget to vote for your favourite and feel free to add your own!

I wonder how they explain this to the guests. Like, it was a gift from Captain Jack Sparrow?
Pee Wee Herman doesn't seem to fit in with all that Victorian dress.
OMG, you're right! Instant vindication, that is. "What's with the tree? You're so creepy" "I know you are but what am I?"
Load More Replies...My sister, who makes dolls by hand, keeps telling me when she dies I inherit all her dolls. Now I know what to do with them all if/when this happens! (btw, I hate dolls)
something tells me there are lots of bowls of potpourri around that house and crocheted dolls over toilet paper. Are we going to see this house on Hoarders next? Ick.
This is one of those houses that needs a HEPA filter running at full bore 24x7.
um no...dolls are really creepy, but put them up like a christmas tree and I'm pretty sure creepy just got creepiest.
Looks like if you get too close they'll eat you. Then resume their position for the next victim.
My 26 yr old son would sh*% his pants if he walked in & saw that lol. He is deathly afraid of dolls even though he had a baby doll at age 3 & loved it & took care of it. When he got older we were looking for Christmas decorations downstairs & all of a sudden he let out a scream & said Nope I'm done. I thought he saw a mouse or something. Come to find out he opened one of the plastic bins & my Grandmother's old china doll (The size of a human toddler) was laying in there on her back & when he opened it in the semi dark under the stairs storage closet he got a scare lol. Ever since then he's been afraid of dolls.
My sister had my niece's (5th?) birthday at the "Doll Museum" in Bellevue, WA Creepiest fucking place on the planet. I had nightmares for weeks.
I once knew someone who had this many monkeys on a Christmas tree, and it stayed in the LR year round for years. They are both a little overwhelming.
Pitch for a horror movie... : "...old lady dies....mysteriously....once a month another senior citizen dies..... tiny, tiny handprints the only clue...."
The eye is making sure no one steals the teeth. His watching yr every move!
I rather prefer to see an uncovered toilet paper than that creepy thing
This doll is from the mid-60's, I think. Her name is "Little Miss No-Name". Although, I'm not sure if this one is an original because it looks like she's missing the painted tear from her face.
that thing is butt ugly like it's seriously ugly U.G.L.Y you ain't got no alibi but i mean its the thought that counts?
Need something for scale... or they just look like regular anvils... which is still a weird collection to have... unless they're blacksmith descendants... or have some weird horse shoe fetishes....or have horses.... or make jewellery... or remove handcuffs.... On second thought, maybe not so weird
i wouldn't feel comfortable doing my business with that thing watching me
This and a few others are like a museum like pulic displayed house. You can tell
No. It looks like you had a fatal accident with a unicycle while you were juggling those clubs.
