The problem is that people use it both as "female friend" (usually other women in my experience) as well as "female person you are romantically involved with".

There's no way that's a Valentine's Day card. It doesn't even make sense as a Valentine's Day card. That is a card for women to give to their friends. As such, it is not a design fail, so I am downvoting it.

This reminds me too strongly of a valentines card I made my bf, signed "Love, Me". He kept on asking who "Me" was. I was like, dude... its literally ME. I MADE you this card! And he laughed and said he thought I was showing him a card that I got from someone else. Adorable idiot.
