Nearly 5,000 images of couples around the world were submitted to the 2019 Best of the Best Engagement Photo Contest! With the help of guest judges AH | Ana Hinojosa, Wandering Woo Photography and Tinted Photography, the Junebug team painstakingly narrowed them down to this stellar set of 50. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the collection we curated together.

I’ve scrolled through the first half a few times (my phone likes to just jumped to the top) and these two jump out at me every time. They just look so HAPPY!! Having fun together, getting ready to start a new chapter in their lives together. It’s like their love is jumping through the screen!

Yes, I agree that this upside down photo looks too contrived. If they are a couple who want staged photographic evidence of their love, fine. It just doesn't cut it as an engagement photo for me, but then again, what do I know, here I am at BP, not desperately searching for instagrammable images of my more-than-perfect life to post there. What a failure! ;-)

I don't know if this was intended, but the contrast between the intimacy of the hug and the distance between them as they hold hands almost seems like a comment on societal expectations (or maybe I'm just reading into it too much). Anyway, love the background.

I don’t see the normal outline anywhere around them, but I was wondering how she climbed up there and changed clothes. At the very least she changed shoes after someone lifted her and her dress up on that shelf.

I liked a few of them, when you could see the peoples faces. Your friends don't want a silhouette pictue. Others- maybe 1 for the wall since if they like artsy?

The celebration of engagements in the past were low key, in theses photos some couples chose to make the day more special, I think it's a nice idea, unlike the stress of a wedding, a photo of their beginning together, awesome !!!
