Over 100K People Follow This IG Page For Its Weird Content That Draws You In
Interview With ExpertThey say a picture is worth a thousand words. A single image does not need a lengthy written backstory to evoke emotions, tell a story, or convey a complex idea. Sometimes, it’s the photos without context that draw attention.
Here are some examples from the Solstices Instagram page. These photos may seem nonsensical at first glance, but they will elicit a reaction, whether it's bewilderment, laughter, or excitement to share them with someone else.
As always, we’ve collected some of the most eye-catching posts on the page. Don’t forget to upvote your favorites!

A trail of frog prints from where the froggy has hopped on a foggy window
Load More Replies...To be honest, Franklin, I don't find it even slightly humorous. If you're done laughing I'd quite like to head back indoors.
I'm in heaven. This is the second photo on BP today with a borzoi in it!
My dog would watch me build this. Would sit and look at it every time he went outside during the day, and just wait till night, and he would sit there growling and barking at it as if it was going to invade the house. My dog only has half a brain cell, honestly.
It's cold out here, but my new friend refuses to leave, so I'm staying too
Ok those are some awesome nails! I’m going to see if my nail technician can manage them
if you look at the left nail, thats been photoshopped. I can paint it with car paint if you like. that effect is easier when sprayed but not impossible with a nail varnish brush. if you have a good art shop nearby they might be able to give tips on different brush types to make it easier
Load More Replies...Those are clearly press-on nails. They're round at the nail base.
Many of you scrolling through this list may find humor in these photos, while others may just be a bit weirded out. Humor is subjective like that, but what exactly makes something funny?
To answer this question, we asked a few experts. Los Angeles-based psychologist Dr. Lauren Kerwin tells Bored Panda that a person’s sense of humor is shaped by life experiences, cultural background, and how their brain processes the world.
“Some people with attention or learning differences, for example, often used humor as a survival tool growing up—it helped them connect with others, deflect criticism, or stay engaged in situations where they struggled to fit in,” she explained.
Wasn't this shared around a while and implied that the guy is the youtuber "DangerouslyFunny"?
I think she's regretting it, because if this is the youtuber "DangerouslyFunny", he earns on average 33k dollars each month from his adrevenue. This photo looks to have originated from a 'face reveal' post he did on twitter some years back. However no one is sure if it was a joke, or actually him.

69% of Divorces Are Initiated by Women; so this means that 69% of married women are losers?
Load More Replies...Personality traits also play a role in shaping a person’s sense of humor. According to licensed clinical social worker and ChoicePoint executive clinical director Jessica Plonchak, extroverts may be more open to their choice of comedy than introverts, who may be more inclined to enjoy less provocative humor.
I get that the tiny hippo is super cute but nobody noticing Mona Lisa is there is pretty shocking.
I didn't even notice there was a hippo. I just saw her
Load More Replies...I only learnt recently that Mona isn't a name, but means Ma'am or similar. D'oh.
Personally, I would take no notice if Mona Lisa was standing next to me if there was a tiny hippo for me to love on!
I've seen someone bring a horse into a club. I felt bad for the horse. The floor is too slippery for them. It nearly wiped out.
"We don't get many horses in here." "At $11 for a can for beer, you won't see many more either."
You don't know Peyo the horse. It goes to hospitals and helps palliative care patients.

Many of the photos you will see on this list could be deemed “inappropriate,” yet a chunk of you readers may still crack up. But don’t worry; it doesn’t mean there's something wrong with you.
According to Dr. Kerwin, people tend to laugh at something that breaks a social rule but feels emotionally safe. As she stated, “it’s a nervous release as much as amusement.”
In 1971, LIFE magazine photographer michael rougier captured the unusual life of actor tippi hedren and her family, who lived with a 400-pound lion named neil in their california home
Ignorant parenting at its finest. The lion injured and attacked family members multiple times. The parents were not held accountable for their abuse.
Yeah, but that's not Tippi in bed with a full grown male African Lion. It's her 14 year old daughter, Melanie Griffith.
"And the lamb and the lion shall lay down together. But the lamb won't get much sleep."
There's a popular misconception about betta fish that they are fine in tiny tanks because their natural habitat waters are so shallow, which doesn't take into account that they tend to have wide territorial ranges, equivalent to a much much higher volume of water than these pitiful little bowls hold. So yes, definitely poor fish.
Load More Replies...They can survive in a spoonful of water, but they love big aquariums, believe me. You can overlive in a small toilet room , could wrap yourself around the toilet for sleep, drink water out of it, some food thrown through a little hole, you will make it for years - BUT YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT!!
I love the name but the situation is saddening. I go to stores all the time and see far too many spectacular fish dead or dying in those small plastic containers
Plonchak shares a similar sentiment, stating that inappropriate laughter may be a response through a person’s emotional processing capabilities under pressure. It’s like how a child may burst out laughing while being scolded by their parents.
“Laughter is a nervous system response and not an intentional act of disrespect,” she said, adding that the sudden chuckle is more of an “emotional release.”
Plenty of storage compartments, non-slip surfaces, economical material, and in a pinch you can use it for self defense.
Listen, they're clearly commenting the dead plant

This reminds me of the furniture I had in my first apartment! My plants were in much better shape, though.
“That’ll be $25. Oh, wait, I forgot you already paid through the Uber app! Thanks for being so kind on my first day driving for Uber.”

Load More Replies...I don't know about that tall, but if you have a spa tub with jets and you turn on the jets and add bubble bath, you get an abundance of bubbles. I know from experience.
Load More Replies...Oh it is, it's taken from a video. Few drops of dish soap in a bath with jets.

I've been installing cedar planks on the walls of my old cabin. Each plank is 8' long and 2-3 lbs. After the first few days, I began wielding them like a giant baastard sword. A day or two after that, I started formalizing each move, making them cleaner and faster as I whipped each end of the sword to the chopsaw. There may even have been some sword dancing. Did I mention I live in full view of a state highway?
In the process, I also managed to grind my fingerprints down to the extent that I had to reprogram the phone to let me in.
Load More Replies...Either this is photoshopped, somebody has poured water into its eyes, or that dog needs a visit to the vet. Dogs do have tear ducts but they do not produce tears in that volume unless they have an eye infection.
I think it's photoshopped, the fur under the "tears" isn't darker the way it should be if it was actually damp.

Where is the rest of him? Doesn't look like room in that tiny car!

Yeah! I think they glued regular-sized Cheeto puffs together.
Load More Replies..."I love Cheesy Poofs, You love Cheesy Poofs, If we didn't love Cheesy Poofs, We'd be Lame!"
Load More Replies...I only found out recently that people (by 'people', I mean Gen Zs with fudge all else to do with their time) bite each end of a Cheeto/ Wotsit, lick the end and stick it to another Cheeto/ Wotsit, to make these 'incredible' things.
How did it not break?? (That stuff is pure poison btw, but oh so tasty!)
A truck carrying 7500 pounds of hagfish overturned on an Oregon highway. The accident caused a 4 car pileup with slime everywhere (2017).
I had to look. Koreans and fans of their cuisine consider hagfish a delicacy. Few other people eat them, although the properties of the slime itself have drawn scientific interest.

Load More Replies...Okay, my mom genuinely once got those for my uncle, but they arrived late & so my grandma, (who is blind) whose house it was delivered to, thought that they were hers and wore them around the house
It's an intimidation technique. Shows an unreasonable amount of self confidence.
No it is not. Did you notice the slimmer child in the photo? Childhood obesity is a serious issue. Posting photos like this are either mocking or a reality check. You decide.
Load More Replies...Augh, those miniature bulldogs that can't walk normally, can't breathe normally, can't breed normally, can't give birth without a c-cection, and still they are thought as luxury dogs!
My neighbor has one and everything you said is true. Poor dog can hardly walk and you can hear it breathing a backyard away. And he’s only a year old. So sad
Load More Replies...Not sure why you got downvoted. Have an upvote. Also I have tried Sausage Roll And Meat pie flavoured chips. The Meat Pie ones were better tbh

You now have an ad that pops up covering the screen half way through the page and your entire page becomes one big ad we're scrolling over. Please think hard about how you place your ads, because eventually it won't be worth coming back.
What ads? Oh right. Someone needs to bring Rick up to speed.
Load More Replies...I love Bored Panda, other than your very weird censorship of normal everyday English words.
