35 Pictures Of My Paper Quilling Art
My name is Gergana Pencheva. I'm a paper artist from Varna, Bulgaria. I graduated in engineering design in 2014 from the Technical University of Varna.
My work is my passion. I make my art with a technique named quilling. Any design—from animals and flowers to names and monograms—can make a unique gift that speaks to that special person in your life.
Believe it or not, I actually stumbled upon paper art by a complete accident! I was researching different techniques for one of my university assignments. I was supposed to create a stylized version of a letter, and I decided on creating it by using paper, hence my passion for paper art was discovered.
Speaking of which, each of my works is my favorite and I associate it with something specific but I especially love the colorful heart that is featured in this post. For me, personally, it is a symbol of love and without it, we simply cannot exist. Thanks to love we move, exist, laugh, and create. She is my muse!
The hardest part in all of this is the technique, in my opinion, creating perfect spiral shapes is a rather complicated process. I'm still trying to perfect this.
That's why, it usually takes me approximately half a day to create a piece, depending on the size. My art comes in a lot of different shapes and sizes.
With that being said, there are many more designs waiting to be created and shown to art lovers, that's why I continue to make this series. I hope some of my works can make your day, or at least make you smile, because I have a lot of fun working on them. Hopefully, you Pandas, liked my work too.
