Once upon a time, when we were kids, no Saturday morning was complete without watching a good ole block of Saturday cartoons. Come to think of it, that might be why most of us wear glasses now, but those Qubo shows we watched glued to our tellies were absolutely worth it! Even though the network is now defunct, it does not mean that Qubo cartoons do not take up a special place in our memories! To celebrate them and to sprinkle your day with a bit of nostalgia, we created this extensive list dedicated to the best Qubo TV shows.
Since the channel’s programs were designed for kids, chances are, you even had the pleasure of growing up together with the ever-imaginative characters and high-morale stories. Oh, and you might’ve also learned a thing or two from their educational shows, such as The Magic School Bus. And while it wasn’t the only educational show on TV at the time, it sure enriched our lazy Sundays with a bit of science. All of it without us even knowing that we were learning!
What Cartoons Did Qubo Have?
Qubo had a vast array of excellent cartoons, catering to age groups from five to fourteen years old. As you know, the differences between someone aged five and fourteen are huge! So, to keep the growing audiences still watching Qubo, the broadcaster made sure to have both cartoons for preschoolers and educational shows for older kids. That’s why old Qubo cartoons are so varied! You have your Willa’s Wild Life, and then you have The Mysteries Of Alfred Hedgehog. Two entirely different old Qubo shows, but both of excellent quality.
However, if you’re wondering which Qubo cartoon took the grand prize of being the most-watched, we have a surprise for you. According to IMDB, a veritable source for all things TV and cinema, the most popular Qubo show was none other than He-Man Man And The Masters Of The Universe! Come to think of it, it’s not such a big surprise — the show was pure excellence.
As for the rest of Qubo’s repertoire, you’ll find most of the shows listed in this article, with twenty first ones donning short descriptions of their plot and characters. So, ready to take a look at our list of Qubo TV shows? Scroll away!

Curious George
2006-Present | 15 seasons
Every day is an adventure in George’s world as he gets into all sorts of trouble. This series is a whole package of educational experiences that will teach your kids valuable lessons about animals, science, social skills, and more! The curious monkey with a penchant for mischief was first introduced in the children’s book Curious George by Margret and H. A. Rey before making his way to television and other media.
Great show, even better if you binge it weekly, mainly due to the amount of episodes/seasons the show has, similar to pokemon, adults should binge Curious George weekly, not dailly. Imagine an adult binged it daily, while having a busy life style, kids should had no problem binge it dailly tho
I read all the books as a kid then watched the show daily after breakfast with my grandkids on PBS
Curious George has been around for many years in BOOKS! My daughter who is 47 loved that mischievous monkey as a child.
Jacob Two-Two
2003-2006 | 5 seasons
Being the youngest of five siblings is not easy: Jacob needs to say everything twice to be heard, which earned him the nickname Jacob Two-Two. Jacob has a strong sense of right and wrong but doesn’t always get things right the first time around. He also has a knack for getting himself into and out of trouble in unexpected ways. The storyline of every episode involves him trying to do something and having it backfire until he learns a moral lesson from it.
I loved this one, i had a crush on the older brother as a kid lol
I remember watching this, but find it forgettable, not because it's terrible, but mainly because other shows are just abit more memmorable than Jacob Two-Two for me, not gonna lie the animation felt like pencil drawing, weekly binged it if you are an adult, sadly a slice of life cartoon is rear now a days
We had Jacob two two in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands he is called Jacob dubbel meaning Jacob double
huh, thats actually pretty interesting. I
Load More Replies...The Magic School Bus
1994-1997 | 4 seasons
If you’re starting to feel nostalgic for the ’90s, then this is definitely a piece of media worth re-watching! Ms. Frizzle is an eccentric teacher with a bus that can turn into all kinds of vehicles, from submarines to airplanes. Her class goes on field trips all over the world to explore space, the oceans, and the human body and have a firsthand experience of the principles of science.
Weekly binge is reccomended for adults, kids had no issues binged it dailly for sure. Only the original is good while the reboot adds little from the original, aside maybe better animations
Only the original, as the reboot does not bring anything new or improving the original
Babar
1989-1991 | 5 seasons
Based on the books by Jean de Brunhoff, this show brings back some really good childhood memories! After the death of his mother, Babar flees to Paris, where he is adopted by Madame. In 2010, a sequel spin-off series titled Babar and the Adventures of Badou premiered on Disney Junior in the U.S.
I don’t remember if the cartoon was like this, but the original stories from 1931 are seriously f****d up. His mother is killed by hunter so Babar grows up among humans. When the elephant king dies via poisonous mushrooms, the “civilized” Babar returns to the jungle and becomes king. The whole thing has colonialist overtones. Oh, and he also marries his cousin.
Her name is Celeste, remember her... She is one of better written characters in the show, aside from Babar that is
Load More Replies...I watched it before when i was a kid, even there's a prequel series too, i find the prequel is sad, yet touching. One of the few cartoons who raised awereness of the endangered status of both African and Asian Elephants (Endangered), funny enough the African elephants was recently split into two saperate species, the African forest elephant (Critically endangered) and African Bush elephant (Vulnerable), sad, cheerful, endering and touching all at once
Pearlie
2009-2011 | 1 season
When a magical fairy goes on wild adventures, avoiding being spotted by humans is a top priority! Kids will love the magical adventures with Pearlie and her friends, who always find themselves in new exciting situations. One of the finest Qubo TV shows is excellent at teaching kids the importance of respecting nature while also providing plenty of humor, music, and fun!
This was my favorite cartoon as a little kid! I would always watch this with my mom!
I never got to see this. Qubo would only play ads for it. They did that a lot. And they often changed their schedule making it so I couldn't watch my favorite shows.
I always used to say that blond guy catchphrase, I don't remember what it was tho
Does Qubo TV Still Exist?
Sadly, no. After a successful fifteen-year run, Qubo was shut down on February 28, 2021. And, although there are some rumors floating around that the broadcaster might resurface in 2023, they are unverified and thus untrustworthy. Although, to be honest, we wished they were true!
As for the shows on Qubo and what happened to them, the answer is a bit more positive. You can find a lot of these old cartoons as a part of other broadcasters’ programming; you can look for them on streaming platforms and even find the oldest ones on YouTube.
Willa's Wild Life
2008-2009 | 1 season
Willa’s Wild Life was one of the most popular shows on Qubo. The main character, Willa, is a young girl whose backyard serves as home to a variety of talking zoo animals. She often gets in trouble, but her kindhearted and caring nature never fails her as she is loved and appreciated by her friends. Willa’s Wild Life was based on Dan Yaccarino’s book An Octopus Followed Me Home.
Jane And The Dragon
2005-2006 | 1 season
9th century. In Southern England, young Jane has been trained as a lady-in-waiting, but her real goal is to become a knight for the Kippernium kingdom. When the prince gets kidnapped, Jane has the chance to show she’s strong enough to follow her dream. With the help of her friend, Dragon, she always manages to save the day with her intelligence and cleverness!
After watching this show as a kid I wanted to be just like Jane and have a dragon friend.
I liked the art style, the CGI is great, but it felt like it was done in coloured pencils in at least half of the show and episodes, but the story is great though. I watch it before as a kid. Too bad it did not earn a 2nd season at least 😞
There once was a lady in waiting, Let's call her Jane, That girl wasn't ordinary. No way no hey, A lady stuck in waiting. I'd rather be facing fire breathing dragons. I knew I could prove that a girl could be a Knight, But my friends all laughed at me, But I wouldn't be discouraged So I trained in secret, Then a dragon pinched the Royal prince and everyone was freakin, So I went along to the dragons home To slay the dragon. Hey now, Hey now now, Jane and the dragon are best friends now. Dragon's sweet. He let me save the young prince. And then the king made me a Knight's apprentice. Hey now, Hey now now. Jane and the Dragon are best friends now. With dragon's help I'll be a Knight someday...

The Mysteries Of Alfred Hedgehog
2010 | 1 season
The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog encourages participation in solving the puzzles and problems found in Alfred’s marvelously mysterious world. Each episode revolves around a mystery that Alfred and his friends must solve using their wit and deduction. The enigmas are fun to watch, but they also teach viewers about logic and creative problem-solving.
Did anybody else fall in love with this n*gga 🤦🏿😂 My younger self was 50 shades of f*cked up
I need to rewatch the show. I had a thing for his friend.

This is the perfect chance for reporter Archie Andrews and his friends to write about the weirdest mysteries for the school newspaper! I got a nightmare from one episode, the one about the love zombies
Sally Bollywood: Super Detective
2009-2013 | 2 seasons
Sally Bollywood is the city’s youngest and most determined detective, inspired by her father to open her own investigative agency. With the help of her best friend Doowee, she cracks all the cases that come her way. The two detectives often help other students in need, with Sally using her incredible deduction skills and Doowee relying on the technology he invents.
Pecola
2001-2002 | 2 seasons
The show stars Pecola, a curious and hyperactive penguin who sets out to make Cube Town a better place but often wreaks havoc instead. Based on a series of children’s books by Naomi Iwata, Pecola is a funny, creative and heartwarming cartoon. The animation is amazingly polished, and the characters are super likable.
I watched the show when i was a kid. The show was funny, the CGI is great, the art style similar to lego-ish, but the story was great nonetheless. Seeing Pecola undo his messes is touching too
One morning I woke up and turned my TV on and just played Pokemon. This show was on when I caught a Zubat and I loved the shoe so much I named the Zubat Pecola. I sadly have deleted the save file.
Marvin The Tap-Dancing Horse
2000-2002 | 2 seasons
The show follows the adventures of a circus with various artists, including Marvin, a tap-dancing horse who once debuted on Broadway. The premise of the show is pretty simple but is presented in an entertaining way that kids and parents can enjoy together. Some episodes contain original songs that help illustrate the theme or accompany montages.
🎵 ITS MARVIN, THE TAP DANCING HORSE *he can dance, he can dance, he can dance 🎶
It's entirely real. "I'm Marvin, the tapdancing horse"

Class Of The Titans
2005-2008 | 2 seasons

Jay, Atlanta, Herry, Archie, Theresa, Odie, and Neil are the descendants of the ancient Greek gods and will have to fight to protect the world from Cronus and whatever else gets thrown their way.
I absolutely loved this show, i would stay up past my bedtime as a kid to watch this.
This was one of those midnight shows 😂 Everyone secretly stayed up past their bedtime to watch it
Being Ian
2005-2008 | 3 seasons
If your parents didn’t make you watch this show when it aired on Qubo, then let me tell you what you missed out on! Ian Kelly is a 12-year-old aspiring filmmaker with a pretty wild imagination who dreams of winning an Academy Award. He often gets lost in daydreams, many of which are parodies of popular movies. Unfortunately, his family does not recognize his artistic talent, which is an ongoing source of frustration for him.
This show was another one of my favorites, it was full of funny stupidity. Made me laugh every-time as a kid.
I loved this show when I first saw it but Qubo changed the schedule (as they do) so I couldn't watch it anymore
Gofrette
2008-2009 | 1 season
Who’s ready for a crazy adventure? You’d better be (or at least pretend to), because there’s never a dull moment when our hero is around! Gofrette, along with his best friends, lives through the most incredible adventures, evoking the program’s tagline: “... that busy, busy cat!” The show is based on the children’s books by Doris Brasset and Fabienne Michot.
Turbo Dogs
2008-2011 | 1 season
The show revolves around six dogs making their way through the suburban racetrack of Racerville. Dash, Mags, GT, Strut, Stinkbert, and Clutch learn valuable lessons about fair play and working with a team as they pull together to protect their reputations as the fastest dogs in Racerville.
I remember an episode were one of the dogs found a car on the side of the road and said finders keepers and took it. Yeah that was a real episode the moral was just because you found it doesn't mean you can keep it
Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?
1994-1999 | 4 seasons
Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? is a classic kids’ show that really didn’t get enough credit for what it accomplished during its time on air. This show is a cat-and-mouse game between Carmen and two ACME detectives, Zack and Ivy. Carmen Sandiego has stolen many treasures around the world, and it’s up to the ACME detective agency to get them back.
Never watch it, since i was an infant back then, but the art style looks great, wish i was able to watch it
If you have a roku player you can watch it on the roku channel under kids and family section.
Load More Replies...THIS. This was my favorite show! It was kinda like clue. But with history, geography, and other general knowledge tests. The music was different, fun, and mostly performed by an a capella group known as Rockapella. Anyways! I just loved this show! It was so much fun to watch!
This was my #1 favorite. It was educational and i loved how it incorporated geography with fun facts, time travel, and problem solving.
Anne Of Green Gables: The Animated Series
2001-2002 | 1 season
Anne Shirley is an intelligent orphan raised by the Cuthbert siblings. The siblings initially wanted a boy to help them with their farm but instead ended up with Anne and her wild, red hair. Each episode is fully packed with educational lessons; Public Broadcasting Service also created some “ready-to-learn” guides to help teachers in America make the most of the show during their classes.
makes sense why i dont know this one was born 2006 but i love the books and the live movie series
This is how I first learned about Anne. Then the super serious live action series lol
Clifford The Big Red Dog
I actually liked Clifford's Puppy Days better. This one great too though.
My FAVORITE books as a kid, had ALL of them which I passed to my kids. I used to pretend my dog was clifford
Veggietales
John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 10:9-10 King James Version 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Jakers! The Adventures Of Piggley Winks
The CGI was advance for its time, not gonna lie, it would be better for older kids, since it tackles the themes only older kids can understand, otherwise great story
really? I always understood it fine?

Timothy Goes To School
I dont know, but im probadly seen a few episodes of this show when i was a kid
Funniest Pets & People
Fireman Sam
One of the cartoons who's not been broadcast in national tv channels in the country im on, tbf it would only makes the show worse, and probadly will add nothing new to the show, due to all Indonesian tv channels often mix contents for kids with the ones for adults, often did not end up well, that's the main reason i shun from tv lol
Just imagine watching the Fireman Sam in bahasa indonesia, the show felt weird if you do that in my opinion, similar with sonic the hedgehog, if you change the language of the show, it often changes the vibe of the show, so i recommend watch the show in english if you can

Rescue Heroes
I loved this show as a kid. Too bad it was only broadcast in Jim Jam. That channel is the best children's cartoon channel in my birth country in years, it is sad that the government in the country i'm in, decided to limit foreign tv channels, when the national ones often just there to fill the channel slots left behind by the foreign ones
Yaaasss!! I simped for the black dude and also the redhead woman. And yet, for some, still took 5+ years to figure out I was bisexual 😑
The Adventures Of Paddington Bear
George And Martha
Ahhh, i watched it as a kid too, seen George's humors compliments the more sereous Martha, they are the duo you wished bumbed at real life lol
Ned's Newt
I first thought it was called Ned's nude and I hate that I used to think that. It's an amazing show though 😊
Lamb Chop's Play-Along
I watched lamb chop growing up in the 80s! I loved that show! This is the song that never ends....
I'm a bus driver and when my kids on my elementary route start acting out, I start singing "the song that never ends" after the third time(5+min of me singing it) they stop whatever they were doing wrong within the first verse.
I had a lamb chops puppet I took everywhere in the lat 60s. I darn I just aged Myself! Lol
Grossology
Loved this show, i am now a science nerd. 🙃 when i have time nowadays, i watch it every so often.
They deal with all sorts of gross things. Villains include Sloppy Joe, Lance Boil, Kid Rot (had a crush on kid rot for some reason), Insectiva, Arachnidia, and one who didn't like light.

I loved and hated this show at the same time. The plot was good but the title doesn't lie, this show is gross.
The only show that can make me barf while simultaneously saying, "Cool!"
Sherlock Holmes In The 22nd Century
The birth for my love of SiFi. I loved the story, graphics, and mainly the theme song. 🤪
This show came on qubo at like 2 in the morning. I gladly risked the sanity of my 8 year old mind to watch this any day. I could never remember what happened from one episode to the next..
Lol, i loved this. Sherlock Holmes been resurrected in 22nd Century is so cool, oh! The CGI is great as well, it brings the story to live too

Secret Millionaires Club
Well, the CGI and art style is similar to most cartoons in 1990s - early 2000s, otherwise great show
I Spy
Animorphs
I read some of the books when I was younger and to be honest, I could never get into the show. I always found the morphing laughable even though it was actually pretty good for it's time 😅
This show was my barrier from watching all the later tv shows. If I could stay awake through this I’d be good
Fishtrounaut
Used to watch this with my brother as we got ready before leaving for school. The memories 😭
Sidekick
Raggs
Mickey's Farm
This was weird and I would usually just go onto pbs since this aired around the time we had Qubo
Elliot Moose
Used to watch it as a kid, the show is funny to watch, but that's what you expect in 1990s - early 2000s cartoons in general anyway
