Being pregnant is no funny joke. Random phantom pains, the inability to hold your bladder, "morning" sickness that hits you in the middle of the night and all the other best meme-worthy nuisances that come with it sure takes their toll. You and your partner have tried everything the doctor suggested, but nothing seems to work. So now you have to mix it up and seek some alternatives.

Since laughter is the best medicine (that is if your bladder lets you laugh without peeing yourself), then nothing can ease your misery better than these hilarious pregnancy jokes and mom memes, compiled by Bored Panda. From coming to terms with body changes to debating whether or not you should slap everyone around you, these funny memes will remind you that the universe hasn't conspired against you and there's still hope. Scroll down to check these mom jokes and upvote your favorites.

Which is why I would never offer my seat to a woman who looks pregnant because she might just be fat and would take offense. Apparently you are supposed to read a pregnant woman's mind.

They had not even "giving birth" yet. These were only period cramps. It's a dutch show named proefkonijnen.

to be fair, we have hormons to help us, sort of

Rabite
Community Member

But I don't think they can mimic all of the pain though. Contractions yes, but it's different feeling pain from inside e.g. from the cervix.

Problem here is, it only simulates the pain. Not the other staff body produces during labour to make it bearable and also for women to kinda forget it afterwards.

You don't have to feel all that pain. I have never understood why women choose to undergo that pain when there are plenty of drugs out there to prevent it. Gimmie an epidural, I'm not brave.

Erika Jones
Community Member

Even if you are lucky enough to get a good epidural, they don't give it to you right away. You have to go through a lot of pain even to get to the point where you can have one. And it still hurts when you push.

I have the same with the period hormones...I've learned over the time (the hard way) not to discuss any "major" relationship issues I feel we have and just wait for the hormones to leave again. And I totally understand it's a different type of thing when you're pregnant.
