104 Times Someone Was Being Such A Jerk, People Had To Shame Them Online (New Pics)
Interview With ExpertCutting in line thinking their time is more precious than others, parking in handicap spaces, tossing cigarette butts on the street — we’ve all encountered certain people who treat public spaces as their personal playground. And they couldn't care less if it comes at the cost of everyone else's peace of mind.
Call it entitlement or just pure jerk behavior, we love it when someone exposes them and leaves them to the court of public opinion online.
While we might not be able to track these jerks down, Bored Panda has compiled a list for you so you know exactly what not to do in public.

Girl, What Even? Am I Tripping Or What?
Ok, as an introvert I just like silence during this kind of appointment. But you can just be polite about it, it's not that hard!
I'm arguably an extrovert but I like these appointments to be relaxing so even I like to not talk. It's not hard to be polite about it like you said! 100% agree.
Load More Replies...I think the no was too polite , F**k No or Hell No would be more appropriate
"No" was short and required little effort. It means you aren't even worth the effort to insult.
Load More Replies...Who raises these entitled good-for-nothings and who thinks it’s cool to be like that is clearly not very clever. I never heard anyone who wanted to be a jerk when they grow up and yet it seems to be all the rage these days. Are manners becoming obsolete?
Even if the preceding stuff was unobjectionable, a flat "put me down for a 10 am" appointment, is a bit arrogant and entitled.
A bit??? If I were the beautician, I would tell her no even without all the "I don't want to talk" nonsense. Just to annoy her. If she can behave like an a*****e, so can I.

People don't realize when they do stuff like that it's a loss for the store and it gets passed on to the shoppers.
Really annoying when it's an item from the freezer. If it's still frozen I'll carry it back myself.
I hate this too or any object people put down where it does not belong because they are too lazy to return it to its proper spot.
I will return to the opposite side of the supermarket to return a product I changed mind about...
See that a lot in Walmart, people are either 2 stupid or 2 lazy to take it back where they got it from.
I hate that there is a chance that they could put them back and its spoiled and someone could buy it .
You’ve Got To Be The Worst Kind Of Heartless Jerk If You Can Go Around Slashing Homeless People’s Tents
When you get into history it's sad, but not unexpected................humans can be the most vile things!
Load More Replies...At this point I don't even distinguish this behavior from voting Republican. With a smirk on your face, picturing children losing food stamps and health care, to spite "deadbeat" parents. And I'm done giving any conservative the benefit of the doubt that meanspiritedness and profound lack of compassion isn't their sole motivator. Border security, fiscal responsibility...shove it. The fox and yahoo comments reveal how disingenuous it is. It has everything to do with enjoying seeing the suffering of others and it's directly rooted in a fuckbook that says suffering is necessary and just. They only ever punch down. Ever.
You can imagine the type of shít that happens to homeless people. Source: me being homeless and vulnerable at age 18. I was assaulted in many different ways, I had someone try to set fire to me, I had someone píss all over my belongings.
That’s so horrible.! So sorry this happened to you. 😣

To understand what exactly makes them behave this way, Bored Panda spoke to Kirsty Sedgman, an award-winning cultural studies scholar and professor at University of Bristol.
“Over the past few years, we undeniably have seen a general shift in normalised public behavior, with social life becoming pervaded by a kind of ‘Main Character Energy’ — which is where we're increasingly incentivised to think about what's best for us as individuals rather than about what's good for us as a community,” she says.
Neighbour Built A Community Library. Last Night Someone Dumped Chili And Cat Food Inside
The problem with some people who don't read books is that they don't want ANYONE to read books.

Load More Replies...From the "You think you're better than me" crowd. They hate and resent anyone smarter or better educated.
I don't know where this was, probably the US seeing the books are all English, but my assumption is that you either have a religious nutcase who does not want people to read anything but their cherrypicked version of the bible , or some extreme right wing nutter who had something against education (banning books and all).
"Neighbour" is not the usual American spelling, though.
Load More Replies...The worst I've ever had done to my Little Library is someone threw all the books out into the road. I live on the busy highway that runs through town. Thankfully, someone else picked them all up and put them back before I even knew what had happened. This, however, is so much worse.
Someone Threw Books From The Little Library Into The Water
Someone emptied the little library and threw the books into the water. I built it a couple years ago and it was installed next to a local resevoir. Someone posted on FB yesterday about this and I went down today to get them out of the water. Mildy infuriated may be understating my feelings.

I requested him multiple times to lower the brightness while watching the movie, he still didn't do it.
Let the usher know....they'll kick them out. I've seen it done and everyone clapped! 😎
Go to the ticket counter with this picture and demand a full refund for your whole party. Life is too short to pick fights with people like this
Problem: If they're insane about the rules and not about customers, they could state that the op took a picture of the movie, so that's not allowed and slap them with a ban or something
Load More Replies..."I'm so-o-o sorry. I was blinded and accidentally tipped my drink on you."
Author of On Being Unreasonable, a book that talks about manners in the public space, Sedgman believes entitlement also starts when people see those in power break the rules and not just get away with it but actively benefit.
“Being a good person starts to seem like a mug's game – because if everybody else is going to act in their own self-interest then why shouldn't we?”
“And that's how we end up with people coming into public spaces saying ‘I paid for this experience; I’ll do what I want’ — whether that means getting drunk at a musical and singing along, or watching videos on a train without headphones, or reclining seats on an airplane without checking with the person behind,” she adds.
Someone Stole My Brother's And Sister's Headstones For The Copper
I used to visit weekly and keep up their gravesite, but 30 years and compartmentalizing heals the need to revisit the pain, until some jerk chose stealing copper over being a decent human.
It seems that decency, as well as sense are not so common. But, that is nothing new. I curse these f*****k s with insect bites between their toes and fingers and to feel the food caught in their teeth with their tongue but never their fingers.
May they step on Lego and hit they little toe against a sharp corner every day
Load More Replies...Unfortunately this is very common. It had become such a big issue in the cemetery in my neighborhood a few years ago, that the administration decided to hire a security company to deal with the desecrators. For the next 2 months, security employees (all former boxers and judokas) patrolled every night and beat the heck of everyone who was in the cemetery and was not d3ad. Magically, the cases of grave desecration dropped to zero 🤭
One year, someone stole a Xmas tree off my brother's resting place. Just why?

Blasting Her Christian Music Through The Whole Train. Cause She Likes It
People tried to talk to her, but then she even started chanting. „Everyone should listen to this! Jesus is the only true god! He is our saviour!“ and so on…

When I asked him wouldn't using earbuds be easier, he said I should just my own if what he's playing bothers me. Way to miss the point, bud.
I'd one-up his Main Character so hard. I'd go up to him (not too close) and start dancing in a circle around him as he walked. I'd dance in the most hideous way I could (which is basically just me dancing normally.) I'd walk in front of him dancing (still keeping my distance and moving so he couldn't say I was blocking him or getting too close.) I'd start saying "OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ" to the beat of whatever he was listening to. If the song had lyrics, I'd start making up my own XD

Studies show that people who had a higher socioeconomic status since childhood are more likely to feel entitled.
It’s no wonder that when we hear the word entitlement, we picture celebrities flying private jets, completely ignoring the planet, while the rest of us fight a losing battle trying to separate our plastics from paper.
People who were raised by overprotective or overly coddling parents can turn into adults who are unable to take no for an answer. They may expect the world to cater to their every need.
For example, parents buying the newest gadgets, toys or clothes as soon as the kid demands them, or letting kids throw a tantrum in a public place to get their way — this kind of upbringing can turn children into adults who have a hard time dealing with disappointment.
“Learning to tolerate frustration is the key to avoiding raising entitled kids,” Good Inside parenting expert Dr Becky Kennedy says in a video.
Alright I’m Done Being Nice
My nightmare neighbors — the ones who constantly park in front of my driveway, take up all the street parking in front of my house, use trash cans to save their parking spots, and even threatened to catch my cat (and do who knows what to it) because they claim they found excrement in their yard. They couldn’t even describe the cat, and there are at least five different cats roaming the neighborhood.
This past weekend, they took things to a new level and installed these obnoxiously bright floodlights — one in the front yard and another in the back — with the back one aimed directly into my yard. I’ve owned this home for about 9 months now; they’ve been renting here for over 15 years and act like they own the block.
I’ve officially had it with their inconsiderate, passive-aggressive nonsense. So, I’m here for suggestions. Hit me with your pettiest, most vile (but legal) ideas to make them realize I’m not the one to mess with. Here’s a pic of the lights for reference.
I think some outdoor mirrors would enhance this poster's garden enormously.
Those lights fall under nuisance , call the cops The parking in front of your driveway is illegal , have them towed Street parking is legal so nothing you can do about that Blocking spots with trashcans, just drive over them/or push them aside Have a camera pointed at your car(s) at all times in case of shenanigans and keep your cat inside for the time being. It will escalate because people like that have a chip on their shoulder the size of a mountain , when it does , call the police and keep calling the police every time s**t happens. As far as petty actions go , I think it is high time to put liquid manure out for your roses during any outdoor event they have.
Depends on the laws where you live. Getting a car towed some places is quite difficult. When I lived in London, it was nearly impossible, unless an emergency vehicle was being blocked access. Honestly, the best thing for it would be to start filing nuisance complaints against the landlord. Eventually, they will get tired of dealing with it and start eviction proceedings.
Load More Replies...Find their landlords, and ask if they had permission to install the lights, and inform them about the harassment. Also provide evidence. And inform city Council. You need planning permission to add lights like that, and you can only point them at the street, not into someone property.
Looks like the perfect place to try out those cans of spraypaint from one of the other posts here.
Keep your cat inside first off... then I'd suggest that you check with local airports and city ordinances to see if lights that bright count as hazards
If possible, get a repositionable concave mirror, install on your property, and use it to reflect the light directly into their window. The concavity of the mirror focuses it to a smaller area, and makes it stronger. Also file complaints against them for harassment/light pollution/public nuisance with whatever local authorities are in your area. Remember, lights that bright can affect animals, too, and check conservation law, fish and game law, etc.
I don't know where the OP lives but I'm Arizona (and other hot climates) that reflected beam could start a fire in their house. I would choose the liquid manure if it were me.

Don't Even Get Me Started On The People That Test Spray Paint Like This
Honestly, after the first 2-3 times, why didn’t the manager put down a cardboard mat on the floor for people to use?
Or lock up the cans? Cause they are destroying them!
Load More Replies...This is why stores are locking up their products so people can't do this. People don't need to do this. If you look at the cap on the can, that will tell you the color of the paint.
I don't know where this is but over here anybody who would pull this s**t would be facing financial repercussions.
In fact, you don't need to test the color because the paint in the bottle and the cap are the same color. What's more, there are bottles where you have to clean the valve after use to prevent it from drying out. The idiots who do the testing certainly don't do that, just put back the bottle.

Clinical psychologist and author Dr Amy Marschall, Psy.D., believes that sometimes behavior that seems “bad” in public is actually the result of neurodivergence.
“This behavior can seem strange or concerning, like if an autistic person has a meltdown, which is not ‘bad behavior’ but a response to sensory overwhelm,” she tells Bored Panda.
At the same time, she says neurodivergence is never an excuse for cruelty.
“Poor behavior can also come from entitlement or misplaced anger… If someone's behavior is harmful, dangerous, bigoted, etc., calling it out directly can make the person hesitate to act that way in public again,” she adds.
A Lady Popped The Lock On The Public Restroom I Was Using, And Entered
I was at a popular grocery store, in the family bathroom. Someone knocked on the door, and I said, "just a minute". They kept knocking, but it sounded like a child was doing it. So I ignored it and went on with my business.
As I was washing my hands, I heard the lock pop, and a lady opened the door. I said, "you can't do that". She shut the door. I finished up and walked out. I told her, "you know you can't just unlock a restroom door when someone's in there, right?" She said nothing, and took her child into the restroom.
She was too ashamed to respond to my call out, but not too ashamed to unlock a restroom door and walk in, even though it was occupied. The sense of entitlement and violation of my privacy had me heated.
I am not too proud, if it's unoccupied to use the RR of the other s*x. "Emergency"..never had anyone care.
Same. Two single cubicle loos in a cafe last Friday - used the gents as there was a queue for the ladies and none for the gents. It was perfectly clean. The lady in the queue when I came out said 'I don't think I'd have liked to'. It was identical to the one labelled for women's use. If it had been grim and grubby I'd have waited.
Load More Replies...Oh, I'd be having that conversation while directly filming her while implying that only a massive pérvert would unlatch a toilet door knowing that somebody is inside.
Gosh I had a fleeting thought if I had something to zip it up from outside
Probably someone from Europe looking to get a peek. Do you know they had to put up doors with no gaps in some European countries to stop people from peeking at you taking a s**t?
When she opened the door and saw you, she did not enter. This implies that she did not know you were in there and thought that somebody accidently left the door locked.
Or not so accidentally... when I was young a lot of teens found it funny to lock all cubicle doors with a 1 DM coin (Deutsche Mark). Maybe it's still a jerk-sport today? So if the OP was too low voicing out that the toilet was occupied, maybe the other lady thought it was a prank (not a funny one). I personally bent down to see if you could see feet after knocking with no reply, if the cubicle seems unoccupied I'd open it - at least in my experience is found it always empty!

After manspreading and eating a TUNA sandwich on the plane, bro whips out his vape. I normally mind my own business, but he had been rude to me the whole flight, so I told the flight attendant, which made him angry, so he started going off on me. The flight attendant had to intervene again.
Hope he enjoys the PERMANENT damage they recently found out that Vaping does to the lungs.
Who are 'they'? What is the research? Where is the research paper?
Load More Replies...This came about because when vapes first started gaining in popularity, many smoke shops advertised them as being "legal" to use anywhere. The idea that because the person was essentially inhaling water vapor, and not smoke, being the cause of that. There are still quite a few places that if you go ask them "can I these on lanes", the store clerks will tell you yes.
Prescriptions do not override smoking laws, especially on planes.

Why do some people feel the need to destroy / deface historical landmarks?
My first trip to Edinburgh was for Hogmanay in 1973 where I met my late wife in a pub that night. It was also my first time at Edinburgh Castle which I thought was so beautiful and imposing. That kid should be locked up and banned from Scotland.
I wouldn't physically touch him (all kinds of huhu with that, not worth it) but I'd start yelling loudly "HEY, THIS DBAG IS SCRATCHING HIS NAME INTO THE CASTLE!" and wave my arms around and point so that EVERYONE nearby knew what was going on.

“If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.” This quote from the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book is a nice little trick to spot an entitled person in a public space.
Entitlement tends to show itself in moments where there’s a power imbalance. If you’ve ever seen someone snap at a waiter for the wrong order, or treating the flight attendant as their personal staff, that’s your clue that basic manners just took a back seat.
Lack of empathy, difficulty accepting criticism, impatience and lack of accountability (blaming others for their mistakes), are some of the other not-so-subtle signs to look for, according to experts.
If You’re A Parent And Let Your Kids Make A Mess Like This, You’re Incredibly Irresponsible
The parents themselves have absolutely no f.g manners. My family and I clean every crumb or splash left on the table (or floor) when we finish our meal.
Same! Even when a member of the wait staff says "You don't have to do that." We ALWAYS clean up after the 3-year-old.
Load More Replies...Seen it just a couple of weeks ago, it was in a cafe where you place you order with the cashier, not the server. This lady took nearly 20 min, she wanted every single dish and drink she ordered (for other adult and two children) customised. All of them took literally three bites of food and a sip of drink and still left an ungodly mess like that somehow, the floor had to be mopped straight away. This was in the cafe of a paid attraction so they must have spent nearly £100 in tickets and of course thought they could be arseholes
If they treat public places like this, imagine how they treat their children. I remember hearing about someone who saw a driver in front of them blatantly litter out the window. They got out of their car, picked up the discarded items and threw them in the window of the litterbug. I want to do this to the people who left this mess.
I would have NEVER left a dining area like this and you know that their house is a sty. What pigs!
If they were babies I can understand them making a mess but the parents should have picked it up. That's what we did when my niece and nephew were babies.
oh yeah you're right. the US is the only place where people let their kids make a mess in a public place, duh. this is because other countries do not have children /s (if it wasnt clear enough to you)

That's just like storm season on our beaches. People go past the "Keep Off" signs to climb the jetties and rock formations so they can be in the picture of how high the waves are.
Recently, we had king tides and sure enough a family with young children climbed up on a log in the surf. They didn't die, but that was a terrible risk to take. People have been crushed to death by the waves rolling the logs.

Or that protected forests are wild and overgrown and tend to be very hard to walk in with no paths apart from the wooden ones. You never know.)
Many years ago I went to Scotland. We went to the ruins of a castle on a cliff next to the sea. Very idyllic looking, great place to take photos, but the actual castle was roped off because of the risk of falling structure (they're called ruins for a reason) and the fact that it was on a cliff with sharp rocks at the bottom. Makes sense, right? Apparently not to everyone as a couple climbed over the roped off area to take photos at the cliff edge. I just thought to myself that it would be 100% their own fault if anything happened to them and they better not damage anything.

Experts say there are different ways to deal with every-day jerks.
“Stay calm and don’t engage emotionally. Set clear boundaries or disengage entirely if it feels unsafe. Entitled people often seek a reaction your power lies in not giving it to them,” says Malone.
Sedgman echoes her sentiments, and adds: “The best way to deal with bad behavior is to calmly bring it up with the person themselves, explain the impact it's having on you or others, and to ask them to stop.”
Missed Connecting Flight Because Entitled People Thought “All Bags Must Be Checked” Didn’t Apply To Them
I was on a flight, and we were already delayed because the inbound flight had mechanical issues. The gate attendants announced multiple times that “all carry-ons like duffel bags and rolling luggage must be gate checked.” Everyone was allowed one carry-on.
I watched as multiple people pushed by the flight attendant and say “no, it’s not a checked bag” while getting on our (tiny) airplane (note multiple had the little red tag clearly dangling off their bag.
Well, behold, after the jetway was pulled back, the flight attendants carried 5 bags up to the front during a final safety check.
So, then we have to wait for them to bring the jetway back to the plane so they can take the five large bags and stow them under the plane. Our already 30-minute delayed flight was delayed another 30 minutes. There were multiple people who missed connecting flights, including myself. Some people literally don’t believe any rules apply to them.
Also, just as a side note, everyone should be nicer and more respectful to flight crews and gate agents.
Hopefully during the transition, some bags were “accidentally “ left behind’s on the tarmac
Umm, pushing past a flight attendant is a*****t. You can't touch an airline employee, for any reason, end of argument. Why were they allowed on the pane at all?
I don't get why employees don't take a more hard-line approach to this sort of thing. Kick the bags and their owners off the plane, take off at the scheduled time without them. Inconvenience the arsëholes, not everybody else.
I get that paying checked luggage fees is ridiculous, but that doesn't change the available space on the plane. If the gate crew says there's not room for everything, believe them and gate check the stupid bag!
My Friend Is A Category 10 Weight Hoarder
Someone should tell him that if he's too weak to lift the weights back after training with them, maybe he should move to a beginner's gym instead (or a playground).
I've been in a few gyms in my day; always amazes me how often the gym staff insist on using the disabled facilities, simply to save themselves the seconds required to go into the male/female changing rooms and use the loos there.

“Calling somebody out can often still work to jolt people out of that sense of entitlement — especially if they simply haven't considered that what they're doing might be hurting somebody else.”
But at the same time, it is important to “judge the situation so as not to put oneself at any physical risk,” she adds.
Some Jerk Abandoned This Poor Tiny Baby In Our Stuffed Animal Bin At My Workplace Last Night
We watched the security cameras and he was only in the bin for a couple minutes before we found him. The lady who did it was still in the store (but we didn’t know she’d done it at that point) and she said how cute he is and offered her fiancé’s phone number because he’s a vet? So bizarre.

Load More Replies...14 years and 4 months ago, someone abandoned three tiny kitties, one of which looking exactly like this one in a box behind my parents' home. The grey one came out of the box and meowed relentlessly, then literally jumped on my dad as soon as he stepped food outside. She kept following him the whole day long and has done so to this day. She's the love of my life. The other kittens were not so lucky. Behind the house is a corn field. It was harvest time. You can guess the rest. I have no idea what went through that horrible person's mind. I mean hell, they could have left the box on our front porch, it'd have been less awful. I met my best friend but 2 poor animals died.
I don't like to wish bad on people for karmic reasons, but I truly do hope people who do all of the awful things that people in this post do get heartache, pain and suffer in return for their sins. They will never accept responsibility but would love to see them get what's coming to them as payback.
Looks like this lil fella has seen some shít. Poor cutiepatootie ❤️
Of all the terrible ways people get rid of animals. this one is pretty benign.
Really? Seriously? What if no one noticed the kitten? What if stuffed animals got tossed in on top of him? This kitten is under 6ish weeks old, because his eyes are still blue. Kittens that young aren't completely coordinated yet and might not be strong enough to escape being smothered by stuffed animals if they were put in on top of him and no one noticed him. As an aside, NO way of "getting rid of" or abandoning an animal is "benign" by pure definition.

He's sitting down, looking up at you when you say that. When he makes a snarky answer strike downward with ===a full force hammer fist into the bridge of his nose as hard as you can. Then if he moves, hammer him on the ear. If the doors are open throw him out onto the platform. If they're not open, lean his unconscious body against the door so that he'll fall out when the doors open at the next stop. And if you have time, pin a note to his chest:"this is what I get for not letting a pregnant woman sit down."

Vandalism Overnight At A Local Park
Someone decided to pour over 10 gallons of used motor oil on the ground and equipment at a local park. It happened overnight with no immediate witnesses, security cameras were down due to earlier vandalism at the restroom building. The park was just completed/updated last summer, and now it's closed indefinitely while they take ground samples. The city has already stated they may need to dig up all the mulch and rubber beds due to contamination. It's terrible we can't have nice things.

The people that had the community garden, vandalized and destroyed the play park, in response to their garden being destroyed.
If you have ever felt a sense of entitlement, you should not only recognize it but also try to understand where the behavior stems from.
According to experts, being humble and grateful to those who helped you in your success and achievements is also something to be worked upon.
It is also good to acknowledge that life does not owe you anything, and when things don’t go your way it doesn’t mean you’ve been wronged.

Parents Changed Their Kid And Left The Diaper And Empty Wet Wipes Pack In The Middle Of H&M's Kids Section
It wasn’t an accident. The woman changed her daughters diaper in the pram (at least not on a stack of clothes), then pushed away the pram in a hurry and looked back all guiltily when she saw that I had seen her. An employee who also saw it tried calling after her a second later and the woman just accelerated her step. I am not the judge-a-book-by-its-cover-type, but overall appearance and vibe checked out. The employee was like “I ain’t picking that up” and walked away. I couldn’t believe it and eventually picked it up and brought it to the trash can behind the cashier like 4m away. Other employee thanked me, told me it wasn’t the first time and gave me some hand sanitizer.
I had the misfortune of having to tell a McDonald's employee that somebody had left a used adult nappy (diaper) in the sink in their facilities. I warned her she'd need gloves and a strong coffee for afterwards. Some people are just beyond disgusting.
Only the trashiest of American mothers will change their babies' diapers on tables, sofas, etc, and they ALWAYS leave them behind. I'd be calling out to tell them they're white trash and they're banned from the store.
Seeing as she's calling it a pram and using meters for measuring distance, this is not in America. Your superiority complex and reading comprehension is what's trash

“The American Laziness Epidemic” Is Always On Display At Walmart
It makes me furious to see the amount of lazy and inconsiderate people throughout the USA. I’ll admit that my anger definitely stems from my past experiences of working at a grocery store and having to collect the carts from around the parking lot. Seeing these carts sit just a few feet away from a cart corral just infuriates me to almost no end.
I truly believe if you leave the cart in the middle of the parking lot, you’re just as bad as a litter-bug. It’s more work to hop the curb with the cart and throw it into the mulch. The customers that complain “not enough carts” are the same ones who just leave it out in the parking lot.
I often find myself collecting the carts and putting them in the corrals just because I know the pain collecting the carts. One of the most dangerous jobs at a grocery store is cart collection. Don’t even get me started on the weather factors (especially in the deep south).
Please just put your cart in the corrals.

Arrived at my parents’ this morning to keep cleaning out their house… Except the brand new dumpster we had delivered was already completely filled. Not by us, but by whoever decided to back up after midnight and unload all their garbage into it. Authorities basically shrugged and said it’s a “civil matter.” Now we’re stuck paying ~$600 just to have it emptied before we can even use it.
The detective in me would come out real quick in this situation!
Load More Replies...Yet it wouldn’t be a “civil matter” if it was a business’s dumpster, right cops?
Whoever did it has to live fairly close by. No one drives around with a truck full of rubbish hoping to find an open dumpster.
When I was cleaning out my parents' house after their passing, my brother who, at the time, delivered and picked up dumpsters, provided a small dumpster for me to use. He placed it in the garage for precisely this reason. He said he didn't mind having to provide extra trips to empty and replace it. He just wanted to avoid it being filled with others' trash.
Looks like there's some paperwork there. Find their names and addresses and report trespassing and illegal dumping.

Should not be a teacher. Seriously it's people like this that drag our whole profession down. They get into teaching to feel superior not to help.
You know, some people paint it as if sobriety was a morally superior way of life. Dissing that rubbish is fine, finest even - but, for many people, sobriety simply works much better in things like staying alive and such, and it sure isn't easy to reacquire, once lost, regardless of molecule of choice. This is mean spirited and uncalled for, and the effort and strength it takes deserves respect.
All of us teachers - including this one - make our livings on the premise that lives need improvement, growth, and strengthening.
lol. Have you ever used, or are you just talking out of your áss? I am a recovering drúg addíct and I guarantee you that I never thought "drúg use is great!!!" nor was I "encouraged" or "pressured" by some kind of weird "motif" implying that drúg use is "great". Many, many addícts start using due to depression, ábuse, suícídal ideation, or other negative feelings/emotions/experiences, NOT because they think drúgs are going to be "great". I didn't even drink alcohol through most of my entire life and only started using when I was in my mid-30s due to depression, feeling suícídal, and being trapped in an ábusive relationship. Drúgs were the only thing that shut up the "bad thoughts" in my head and made me stop feeling the "bad feelings". I didn't feel "great" to be using, I just felt SLIGHTLY LESS SHỈTTY when I was high.

Public assistance, basically, is where you get your insurance, food stamps, and other things when you're low-income and in need. If you ever want to be treated like you're vermin of the earth, try to get some help, and they'll be sure to treat you like so.
Can confirm. My son is in hospice and because of that, despite note being financially "poor", we qualify for Medicaid ( healthcare without cost for low income) The number of doctors who are stunned that I am a teacher, educated, etc is disgusting. Having staff treat you like you are a bother./thief/trash.. which changes instantly when they realize we have a waiver and aren't " poor" shows just how much this public perception that poverty is some kind of marker that means you're a bad, uneducated, thieving drain on society is prevalent in the US.
Lila, I am so sorry that your son is in hospice. I hope you and he are doing as well as you can be under those circumstances. ::hugs::

And yet I still see them greet each person politely and if you say please and thank you to them and treat them decently, they'll do whatever they can to help you.
A private businessman (who ran a chain of hardware stores) got appointed state director of the Bureau of Motor vehicles. When the public complained that the service was too slow, he removed all clocks from the walls in all offices. When the customers began staring at the clerks (allegedly) because of the slowness, he had the chairs ripped up and faced away from the clerks in all offices at great expense. He didn't last long in the job.
And because no clocks on the wall, people couldn't tell what time it was??

Worker Left An Entire Mess From Their Meal In The Break Room Before Leaving For The Day
I work security in a data facility and I see things like this every day, people just leaving their messes out in the break room for janitorial to clean up. There's trash cans everywhere (including recycling and compost), and bins to deposit dirty dishes, yet people still feel so privileged and entitled they just want to leave their messes for someone else to clean up like they can't be bothered to do it themselves. For reference this mess was at the very end of the day and the employee had been in there for almost an hour just chillin, so they definitely weren't in a rush to leave.
Where I worked, we had cups, plates, and silverware for community use and the employees were responsible for washing their dishes. Of course, some people felt they were beyond doing basic chores, so they'd pile their dishes in the sink until you had to wash a plate to use one. One day our manager walked up there and tossed everything in the sink into the trash right in front of everybody, telling them no one here was hired as a dishwasher. I think we had one spoon left in the drawer and when the manager found that in the sink the next day, she tossed that, too. Then she told everyone that if you wanted plates or silverware, to bring your own.

If they're continously taking flash photography, get security! I've worked somewhere where flash photography isnt allowed. We Close In 4 Minutes
I don’t get how people can be this inconsiderate, we were literally getting ready to leave. I also feel bad for the driver that has to deliver this (this was an ubereats order).
Hold up, this is not on the customer. If you don't want dasher orders that late, set your time parameters accordingly. It's not like the person walked into the restaurant and ordered. Sometimes you can't even tell what the hours for a place are on the apps; it's either you can order or you can't. Most places set their last order time a half hour before closing time.
Exactly my thinking, I've worked at few takeaways and fast food places and we always stopped taking delivery orders at least 30 minutes before closing, sometimes earlier if we were busy.
Load More Replies...I don't get how a food delivery/prep place cannot organise themselves properly to ensure that this would not be a problem. Either accept that your 'closing time' is the time at which you stop taking orders or set a different "last orders" time fifteen minutes (or whatever) earlier to avoid this being a problem. Rocket science it is not.
The store should stop accepting orders 30 minutes before close if they don't want to deal with this.
"we close in 4 minutes" then you should indicate that no more orders can come in 30 minutes before closing. not the customer's fault
