Not many of us stop to think about what our parents’ lives were like before we came along. We only know them as the responsible adults who went to work every day and forced us to do our homework and eat vegetables. But before us, they led completely different lives and looked way different, which only photos can now prove.
A TikTok trend that has been floating around for some time encouraged kids to share this proof with others, and boy, did they deliver. Below you’ll find many photos of parents from their cool past, where they look like they might as well have been models.

I dont know if I'm allowed to say this but your dad was smoking hot
There's something extra special to me about simple (homely?) beauty. Of all the pics on this list so far, this is the one person I would most want to hang out with and get to know.
IDK why, but the 'before' pic reminds me of the photos that used to advertise knitting patterns....
Is it me but the lady on the left is clearly white while the lady on the right is beautiful young black woman?
I've watched too many true crime movies. I thought the stripe on his chest was a chair strap (electric or polygraph both crossed my mind before I realized what it actually was).
I saw the fatshaming coming from mileeees away (She's still pretty)
My mom and dad...married for over 50 years now! <3 Mom-and-da...e86de5.jpg
I hate these posts. They remind me that I used to be hot too, even though I didn't believe it at the time, lol.
What this post shows me is that they had beauty inside as well as out because they were confident and happy enough to not feel the need fight aging. They realize that societal "good looks" are a small part of life experience. Everyone strong person who doesn't obsess about their looks and concentrates on true happiness is a hero.
I still cannot get on this band wagon that confidence is just letting it all go when you get older. I see nothing wrong with people wanting to continue looking good as they age. I met with a 70 something year old friend today and she looks gorgeous. But it takes regular upkeep. Good haircut, nice clothes, routines with the dermatologist. That's how I want to age. Not just, I'm confident so I'll just let everything go.
Load More Replies...Elderly lady, crying, laments "I used to be young and beautiful!" --- Yes, lady, that's true. Now you're just beautiful.
I do love these "then and now" photos. Or as Terry Darlington said "we weren't always old geezers you know, we used to be young geezers".
It's probably because I can no longer count the decades I've lived on one hand's fingers, but I think all these good lookin' folks have aged very well.
We’ve shared all of our younger pics with our kids, so it’s not such a shock to them.
This is an odd l article, because it implies you should think "wow, they were hot. What happened?"
this is so dumb, I assume AI wrote all the comments, since it says the same exact thing under every single picture, and btw just show the old picture. The present pictures are make this seem like they died or that they look awful now. I hate these lists.
