While for each person, the month of October means different things, I believe that for the majority, it's the time for spookiness and, of course, Halloween. And this celebration simply wouldn't be as fun without the movies that go along with it. But before you rush to watch Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, Beetlejuice and whatnot, we advise you to have a look at these one-panel comics!

For this article, we've selected the funniest works depicting horror movies in a parallel universe by Mark Parisi. In the series, the artist skillfully reveals what a scary film for animals and things would be like. So, scroll down for some Halloweeny entertainment!

Bored Panda got in touch with Mark to get to know more about him and his creative process. The artist shared that October is his favorite time to cartoon because he gets to draw monsters all month. "There are werewolves, vampires, witches, Frankenstein monsters, mummies, ghosts, creatures from the black lagoon, Godzillas, monsters under the bed, you name it. There's something undeniably appealing to me about combining scary with fun. Scary movies are a favorite subject of mine, and half the joy is doing facial expressions on the audience. Halloween is also about costumes and candy and bats and pumpkins so there's a never-ending source of fun ideas."

Fin means end in french. In older movies the words "The End" or "Fin" was shown at the end of the films. So the French basically just leave when seeing the title "Fin". :)

Not rly funy film in french have a new title for french audience like jaws is call( les dents de la mere) "the teeth of the see" not jaws! If they call it fin: in french the movie gona go out with the name l'aileron! That make some shity spoiler some times like The Shawshank Redemption in french was called thos who escape "Les Évadés"! No movie came out in france without a new name!

Nor I did understand. The explaining you all mentioned is clear, I knew that it means "finish, end", etc, it is a well known movie title at the end, not this was the problem, so from the answers I understood much less, because if it means END, of course that everybody leaves. Till I used the translation-search with "shark FIN" ... From that I learned a new English word: the other meaning of FIN means the tail of the shark, as on the screen here :) . Okey :))) Sorry, English language people, it seems ununderstable and a boring explaining to you, but not everybody from other countries knows this word. I knew it as "shark tail", I never heard it as FIN.

Fin means the end, in French movies when they are over thats what is at the end. It's the fin. Also fin. Jaws. Fins. Lol 😆

The shark’s fin that is seen in the picture means the end in French, so if they had Fin as the title the French would think that it is already the end of the movie

? I don’t really get it but it’s something about French and the English language…I think.

"As a child, monsters were one of my favorite things to draw because you couldn't get them wrong. If you're inventing a monster, you can make it look any way you want. There can be 12 eyes and a single strand of hair. Anything goes!"

There's always the one that goes into another dimension (along with the Tupperware lids).

I find this funny cause in the movie it’s not really tangled it’s just long haired girl who takes care of it! So I like this one cause it actually stands up to the title!

we actually adopted a kitten last week and all our animals are doing pretty okay so far, she has the bathroom to herself and she's not allowed upstairs yet, and it still limited time out of the bathroom. They get fed together. Hopefully the a*****e one will like her soon, he's doing better than we thought tho! (we officially have 4 cats, and 2 dogs)
