When that robot demands I turn right in 400 feet, I usually mutter a kinda mad, "Yes ma'am!".
I use Siri on my phone quite a bit. I almost always say Please when I ask for something and Thank You when a task is completed. My DH literally just asked me the other day if I said Thank You to a Bot. Yeah, I did.
When I would ask my kitchen Google speaker a question I would always preface it with OK Google Please....and then ask my question. I would get the answer along with "Thank you for asking so nicely"
I thank my appliances all the time- also like Lakota Wolf, covering my booty for the inevitable robot uprising!! They will remember...
When google asst bugs me I respond with fck u google - I will be the 1st to go. "you are in driving mode I can't do that"... That is why I am using voice commands to ask you to play some fcking music you stupid piece of software!!!!
When I was at college oh so many years ago I used to take the lift up to some of my classes and anytime I was in the lift alone I would thank it for taking me to my classes. Call me crazy but every other person in my lessons, including the teacher, got stuck in that lift at least twice that year. Except me. I never got stuck once. Make of that what you will 🙂
The mother of one of my friends recently died at about 95 yo. When my friend or her (blind) husband asked something from Siri she always told them to be more polite to the lady. Once while driving late at night they asked for directions and she said don't bother people at this time, they'll be sleeping

For those that don't know. During Covid lockdown in the UK you would get fined if you had gatherings of people other than the people you live with. Boris Johnson the then Prime Minister had a party & nothing was done about it.
Before I make it to 60, we'll have either fixed everything and live in a eutopia, or society will have collapsed and the world will be a barren wasteland. Either way, that's my retirement plan.

BP is becoming too much controversy between different countries. It seems people get more snarky on here each day. I must have missed it when America and the UK became enemies. This is like being back in school. People fighting over such minut things when the entire world is being destroyed.
