This is me when I pull out some of my old toys for my girls to play with. And the boardgames. And the cassette tapes with stories and music on. And whenever they watch a childrens'show that me and their fad also watched as kids. When my bf and I made a box with our old dinosaur figurines COMBINED and gave it to our daughters we were in dino-teaching mode for weeks! Especially our oldest girl is a dino fan. She sometimes tells us about dinosaurs. SO CUTE!!!! (I can really recommend that ppl save their fav toys and boardgames for when they have their own kids ❤)
I lived in Japan twice as a child. My brother was into Pokémon at the time (30+ years ago) and now his kids are. My 7-year-old nephew gave me my first Pokémon card last night at dinner. I put it inside my clear phone case. 😁

Wish I kept all of my original Pokémon cards. Unfortunately they got lost in a move to a new house
This has to be one of my favorite things I've experienced while watching my son grow up. My son is into all the video games from our past and my husband has had the best time reliving his youth ! I love watching them!
My daughter did this very same thing!! One day when she was seven, she came home from school and asked "hey mom!! Have you ever heard of Pokemon??" When I started talking about it in depth, she looked at me like I was the coolest person in the world and I will cherish that for as long as I live and then some 🥰
My little brother was drunk and we had to catch the train home. He asked every single persons in the train station (5 - 10? I can't remember) where the train was going, was this the right train for us etc. He told them "I need to make sure my sister gets home safe".
I do for some games, but not others. It really depends on my mood I guess.
